PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Fallout 4 plat get! Ended up being somewhere around 75-80 hours and a pretty fun time although by hour 50 I was about ready to wrap it up. There were a lot of things I liked (improved combat, voice actors, Commonwealth) but some of it I think I actually preferred New Vegas. A lot of the end-game stuff wasnt really a problem for me either cause I had a maxed out character and tons of ammo...that was a bit of a letdown.

I might grab a cheap copy down the road when DLC comes out but I'll probably trade it in if Best Buy gives a decent value for it this weekend. Vig and others who beat it, which faction did you end up siding with in the end?
BoS is playthrough I went back to after doing all the endings.

Anybody know if the PS TV whitelist exploit still works? I'm enjoying GR:R enough that I could see myself replaying it on PS TV. I don't think I'd want to play it on my Vita due to the weird controls for Gravity Slide, but PS TV would be a good fit from what I'm seeing.

Got patched pretty sure with one of the last couple of updates.

Again this whole thing shows how dumb Sony can be. Obviously games work that aint on their list and they are pretty playable from accounts of people who did the hack. Why sony cant just let all games run and the ones they aint approved have a disclaimer saying its not approved and if it the game doesnt work well, dont complain to them. Pretty simple to add in I would think.

Of course this is the same company who cant put in a sort feature on their own psn store.

I still think the stupidest fucking thing about the PSTV is that I can't use Netflix, Hulu, etc. on the damn thing.

The in-game models for Dragon Quest Heroes II's original characters were shown in the latest issue of Famitsu: http://www.siliconera.com/2016/02/09/dragon-quest-heroes-ii-gets-another-look-two-protagonists/

Wonder if it is more of a digital rights licensing issue then anything else? Sort of like Microsoft having to get permission from 3rd party developers to turn on backwards compatibility on 360 games.

I was watching a Sony Japan video of indie games and had never seen Push Me Pull You before. It looks like a human version of CatDog mixed with keep away or wrestling as they say.

Dont really get this complaint. Netflix sure, as it was on the vita to start with but aint been updated in ages, but really out of the scope of the pstv.

Besides, whatever they did put on it, it would most likely work a LOT better on other things such as chromecast, roku, built in tv stuff, etc.

well your complaint is dumb too asshole

Not too many times in my life where I have driven to work in the snow.  My wife just texted me saying it was sticking.  She obviously does not know what snow sticking means.

We use that term all the time up here. As in the the snow is staying on the ground and accumulating instead of melting or blowing away.

Get your head out of the gutter man. There's no place for that in here.

Destructoid liked the new Dynasty Warriors-esque game Arslan: The Warriors of Legend: http://www.destructoid.com/review-arslan-the-warriors-of-legend-334572.phtml

8/10

If you can stomach a few minor issues that add up over time, Arslan: The Warriors of Legend will be your huckleberry. True to Warriors form there's plenty of collectibles to find, new weapons to discover, online and offline co-op, and a free-play mode. Like nearly every Omega Force game before it, I'll be playing this one for quite some time.
I have too many Warriors games in my backlog as it is, but I'll keep an eye out for this one to hit $20 or less.

I guess I am going to need a kilik style explanation of what you were going for here.

I know what snow sticking means and it isn't since the ground is too warm still. I was trying to say she didn't know what she was talking about.

Yea thats what I got from it, as she wasnt using the snowing nomenclature correctly.

So, I didn't pay attention to the trophies in The Wolf Among Us, just played through it. I see that you can use the rewind feature to get the Book of Fables that you missed. Do you have to finish the chapter, or does it auto-save when you get them?

Pretty sure it auto saves, I think.

Like theres one I know for the bar fight scene, have to choose opposite on second time through it from what you did the first time.

Never said your complaint was dumb, just said I dont get why people make that complaint, lot of other devices that are better suited for netflix etc. dont see why people want a crappy version of those apps on the pstv.
They probably don't want a crappy version of the Neflix app on their PSTV. They want a decent workable one. Personally I already was watching Netflix on Chromecast long before I got a PSTV but could see how someone who is out of ports on a TV or doesn't want to spend $35 on a Chromecast or similar would want that functionality. If a $35 Chromecast can do a pretty good job you would think a $100 PSTV (before all the price drops) would be able to handle Netflix.

The one box to do it all was a supposed selling point of the XBox One. Many people do want that type of integration. Personally leaving on a $400 (or $500 when the One first came out) console all day and night to watch TV and game isn't something I want to do though. But a $100 box? I would leave it on all day and wouldn't think twice about it.

Man I'm on a dumbass roll. I thought you were implying that "snow sticking" was some kind of well known sex term ala "pearl necklace".

I'll just show myself out.

I've never needed to buy another device for Netflix since I have two gaming consoles that allow me to use Netflix. Another device to do that would be a waste of money for me. The only reason I would've kept my PSTV would've been for the bedroom, so it would've been nice if I could use it for Netflix. Now if I had another device laying around to do that, it wouldn't bother me. But I think my complaint is perfectly valid.

Im just spit balling here, but I am guessing the lady friend likes pearls?

Gohastings.com has 50% off used games, books, Blu-rays, DVDs, CDs, etc., with the code WHOA50OFF. I don't see anything worth mentioning, but I didn't really take a good look.
thanks chum. I had to take deadpool back to the library, so I picked it up from hastings for ~$26. so good.

god that looks terrible

Not sure why I thought of the Bo Jackson jingle but I did. And there is at least one pic to go with it.
Mild Fact(tm) - as a young cub scout I went to a Royals game with the troop and witnessed (I think) the first time Bo Jackson broke a bat over his leg. He was awesome.

I'm enjoying Ni No Kuni a lot so far. I think I'll probably end up going for the plat unless there's some awful unexpected difficulty spike later on. I made it through the second dungeon last night, trying to finish up my last errand to get a catlady some flowers or whatever before I head to the desert area.

But holy shit, that opening though. I was not anticipating so much sad.

oh shit!

FIREWATCH DAY!!!

HYYYYPPPPEEEEEE
I didnt know what this game was even though you guys were talking about it for days. I ignored it completely until Vig posted the reviews. I had no idea it was literally a game where you play a Fire Watch. I just assumed by the name it was some Pokemon game or something.

On this day after the day after the Super Bowl, lets remember the good times between Cam and (a) Manning.

I really would like to play PS4 Dead Pool at some point, but $10 or less for sure.
Why don't you just get it this month with the free wednesday redbox rentals? Or is that one not available around you? I'm considering that or Until Dawn for the next couple weeks.

Yup supposed to be pretty short but good, so right up my alley right now.

never used a redbox before and last time i looked they didnt have many games near me. Also, I cant play an entire game in a day or two, which is the longest rental right? Unless you pay more? I just dont like being tied to games that I have to play or pay more for it.

At least the boy dual-wields swords, so they're not the same character with only gender and elemental differences this time.
Yeah, the differences between the two kind of sucked last time. Made it pretty easy to adjust if you accidentally got one of them killed though.

Well just the trophy for driving forever and unlocking all the items left for Rocket League. Far, far away seems like it's going to take forever though. Did it come naturally for any of you guys? Guess I'll have to rubber band it.
I got that trophy just playing the game normally. It popped early for me, which is a known glitch; around 70km I think. I don't think that's been changed with any of the patches or DLC. Actually, I think I got the distance related trophy for the DLC spinner wheels well before the 100km, too.

Just don't change your wheels until it pops for whatever method you use.

I couldn't believe it when I realized I haven't been skipping cut scenes. When my kids wake up in the morning and come downstairs they're always pretty plussed when I'm playing ni no kuni. If they come down and I'm playing hot shots golf they've been known to say things like 'uggghhh not golf. it's so boring and you're terrible at it.'
