PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Lost Dimension players: Do I keep weaker weapons once I buy new ones, or can I dissolve all of them for more money? I don't think there's a crafting aspect to the game, but I thought I'd ask just to be safe.

yeah I knew Gator meant soccer.  I dont like soccer much either but would rather watch it than UFC any day.

If I want to watch two people beat each other up all I have to do is watch 30 second fights on twitter.  Much more entertaining and free!

Watching black women pull each others weave off just might be the next best thing to UFC.

That and Olympic soccer are really the only ones that matter.
Ehh olympic soccer is actually a u-21 competition now and really not that great. I think each team has 3 players that can be of any age though so sometimes you get a few bigger names thrown in.

Free Chipotle burrito since they're closed until 3 to train all their people to not give us e-coli anymore.

This is legit and on the Chipotle website (http://chipotle.com/raincheck). Have to sign up by 6pm EST tonight. I just got mine.

If all your party members that use that particular weapon type are up to date with the strongest available from the store then you can dissolve it. The only reason to keep it is as a hand-me-down to someone who has been using inferior equipment. Though as you enter the upper mid-game some weapons won't be straight upgrades, they might have more CRIT and less PSY or vice versa. That would be the only reason I could think of to hold onto it.

I mainly just hung onto everything until I needed cash for upgrades and then sold all the old weapons and Apps and things at the same time.

I know you liked it Owl, how you liking it Vig? It's a bit on the shorter side for a jrpg right?

It's more of a strategy game than an RPG, though it's obviously both. I like it more than I expected, and it's somewhat addictive to replay missions for more EXP and Energy (LD's currency) now that I'm getting the hang of the battle system's emphasis on assists.

If you're going for the plat, it can take a while depending on how you feel about save-scumming to avoid a character becoming a traitor before you earn their respective maxed-friendship trophy, as it can take several playthroughs otherwise. You can look at PSNP's trophy guide for more details.

It's crazy how hyped Unravel is just because it got a little showcase at E3. There are tons of physics platformers released over the last year that have been completely unnoticed by the gaming population. This one probably has a little bit better production values than some of those, but not enough to justify the 100x more hype its received.
I can't imagine trying to figure this out as an indie developer/studio. Sony publicly 'sponsoring' an indie game is a huge boost to awareness of your game and almost certainly ups those day one buyers based on Sony hype, but it's also guaranteed to be compared by most to a AAA game. If it can't pass muster in that comparison what happens - are you doomed as a developer? Do you spend more falling further in to debt trying to meet that bar than you would've if you were releasing it if you weren't promoted?

The only games I can think of being major Sony lovechildren are:

- Octodad (I think the only (?) indie game featured on every kiosk at launch and for a while after)

- Rocket League (this was the world's best PS+ advertisement and it actually seems to have done ok for the developers)

- The Witness (hype train extraordinaire)

- and Unravel (the gigantic E3 (?) presentation was bizarre for exactly the reasons you mention - it's just another physics platformer with I guess a nice story. so is Thomas Was Alone I guess.)

were there others? I think Alienation would fill that category if it were ever actually shown in public - it's gotten enough blog press but never been on a stage with Sony as far as I know. Rime probably - what about that one where you turn in to an eagle or something?

I dunno, it'd be irresistible to have Sony put you on the E3 stage but if your game isn't on point it might be the last game you make.

Unravel was not an E3 Sony lovechild though was it?  It got all the press at E3 from EA because they are the publishers is how I remembered things.

The indie that Sony has hyped the most since Rocket League is No Man's Sky.

Is anyone playing the new Lego Avengers game on PS4?  Someone I know got it and can't find the exclusive PS4 DLC that it supposed to come with at launch.

Is it a download thing or on the disc or what?  Do they have to finish the game first etc?

That's cute
College baseball is pretty big in the parts of the country where you don't have to shovel snow off the ball field before you play.

Also, the product has gotten much better the last ten years or so. A lot of the better HS players are realizing that rather than spend 3-4 years traveling around the minor league systems they can go to college for three years, possibly get a degree, play against just as good of competition as they would play against in a lot of A-ball leagues, and then get drafted higher coming out of college. Plus, the college groupees are 10x better looking than the minor league klingons.

Ah, I completely didn't remember this. I really thought it was from the main conference. No Man's Sky is an excellent example though, that thing is hype through the roof. That dude has to be terrified of releasing it at this point.

I would think not. I know someone who played/beat the game over the weekend via EA Early access.

I would not worry about scrumming your first playthrough as your final playthrough you have to correctly identify all traitors in order to get the true ending (True Victor) trophy anyway (which would also unlock All-Seeing Eye trophy). Play through the first playthrough, make note of which characters you don't max out your bond with them (It's probably 3 characters).

At the end of the playthrough don't overwrite your previous save with the cleared file, create a new file. Play enough to identify the 3 suspects and then use vision points on any suspects which you have not yet maxed out the bond. If any of them are the traitor, load the old save file and beat the last mission again and create a new cleared game. Repeat until a traitor suspect is not someone you need to max a bond with.

Now, at the end of each floor, before you enter the Judgment chamber, make a back-up of your save to the cloud. Complete Judgment, then at the start of the new floor test those you still need max bond with vision points. If none of them are traitors, continue, otherwise reload your cloud save and redo the Judgment chamber on the previous floor.

Just make sure you always eliminate the traitor on your second playthrough or you will have to play another playthrough.

If you don't want to save scrum, then you should be able plat the game in a max of 3 playthroughs. Play the first playthrough. If a person you need to max bond with comes up as a traitor while vision pointing in the 2nd playthrough don't kill them until you max their bond. Then eliminate only traitors in the 3rd playthrough.

Also, only worry about grinding enough cash for weapons/equipment to make you just strong enough to beat the game as all your equipment goes bye bye at the start of NG+ though you get to keep something like 10% of your cash balance and the skill points total you obtained from leveling (the skill trees are reset and you get to reapply from the skill point pool).

Emotional over someone you just met because your jealous that "their" team is in the Super Bowl? If your wife or this crazy woman in the airport cry over something so trivial how do they handle real problems like a death in the family or something?
Naw, you are looking at this from our male point of view. This makes no sense to us as we are wired differently. Just as they incorrectly try to rationalize things us men do from their perspective rather than from our male perspective. They have hormones running rampant through their body. A set of circumstances that happen to them on say June 1st could have them react one way, but if that exact same thing were to happen to them on June 25th, they could react totally different.

You could walk into a room and your woman is crying. You ask her what's wrong and they might say I have no idea.

We either accept them as they are or divorce them. :)

And of course I'm speaking in generalities. I'm not asking for anyone to say that's not right, my wife is not like that.

Just some observations of mine.

Decided to go ahead and get the precision pack to complete the full Helldiver DLC set. The Precion strike Strategem calls down 3 armor piercing shots which home in on the largest targets which seems like it should be pretty good for late game "OH SHIT" moments like when you have 2 or 3 big tanks show up at the same time.

If you'll watch the world cup, then you should watch the Euro. Much better competition, its basically a smaller version of the WC with only europe teams.
As long as it's country vs country I'll watch the best play. I'm not into club soccer unless it's Messi vs Scott Sterling.
