PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

So for Helldivers, I did a mission on the bug planet. Is that all I have to do?

And this whole yellow bar needs to be filled before the timer expires? Because I don't see that happening.

Yep. The developers are apparently able to scale how quickly the bar fills up before an event (i.e. guessing how active people will be in participating) but they may have underestimated the apathy of the PS+ crowd. There were lots of failed invasions in the beginning.

I could see you saying that about LBP Vita (in fact I have been waiting on someone to). The PayDay 2 thing has been a few posts over the last 2 days.

ETA: Don't piss me off or I will sucker you into buying it as well.
Thankfully I learned my lesson with Zombie Vikings. And its a competitive FPS. I am terrible at them and so I dont like them/get bored quickly. I would probably only ever buy it if it were $5 and/or a quick/easy plat.

Just because I dont use it doesnt mean I dont carry it on me. I think I have had the same $20 for over a year.

I dont remember the last bar I went to that didnt take cards. A drink is $5 at least and you can easily add the tip on the reciept!

Also, fuck pennies. They cost our government much more than they are worth to make!
I hate pennies and have no idea why they still exist. Honestly nickels don't really need to exist either IMO

Just round everything to end with a fucking 0 and get on with it.

I've been trying to get through it, but I really don't like the main character. So when you're spending forever just reading a story about him...ugh
If you like reading so much, you should really join the PSNOT book club. We are spending most of our time not discussing our current selection, but rather how not many of us have not even started the book due to being stuck in long waiting lists at the library. February is off to a raging success so far.

It's the only book club I've heard of where reading is optional, and in some instances is perhaps even frowned upon. It's great! You all should join.

I think he said he's gonna be too busy to play this weekend anyway.
Golf is a daytime thing so I could conceivably still be able to play at night. If I havent gotten arrested for killing people on the highway.

Also, we are going to bowl and billiards Sunday night, so that night is out at least.

My contribution every month would be "Tried starting the book. Fell asleep after 5 minutes. Worst book since last month's!"

Yes, if the bar doesn't fill up then the assault fails. If it fails then it backtracks a sector. We will have to fill up the bar on the previous sector again, and then another assault try in which you have to fill it up in 48 hours. Which means you'll have to play a mission again when the final assault starts again.

There should be an option at every store to round up the change to give to charity like a couple places I go to do. Petco maybe? Not sure, but i always say yes. 98% of the time I pay with a card though.

yes, someone should make an app or something that ties into the credit card readers at every retailer giving them options to round up to the next whole dollar. We talked about this before, any time Publix says to donate by rounding up, I do it.  Same nearly every where.  A lot of people I know say yes to that.  Seems like a no brainer.

I used to only need to carry cash for pinball, but now they installed this PayRange app on all the machines so I can just fund my games with my phone. It's very handy. Plus the owner well sometimes discount all the games if you use the PayRange app for a weekend and you can earn free credits if you play one machine a lot. Pinball tournaments I've played in the last couple weeks had them also. Get your folks on it Chewy!
Is that an add-on device or a feature in modern games? Because we have a mix of games from EMs to recent games.

Decided to not be lazy, it's an add-on thing and works with most "MDB" machines made in the last 15 years. No idea what an MDB machine is but in any case that's not going to work with the older pinball machines.

That's not really true. We had it on a ton of old machines. Like the Police Force and Hook Cue Ball Wizard and 8 Ball Deluxe, which is like 70s old.

It isn't competitive. It is cooperative. You play as a team trying to do heists. You should know I am not going to be playing a competitive FPS.

How far are you guys?
I am level 100. Pancakes played with some friends and me a good bit a while back so I am guessing he is probably 50-70 or so. I assume Derek just started yesterday, but I am not sure.

If you mean in terms of played levels. I have done almost all of them. I have 23 left all on the hardest difficulty. I would not expect us to be jumping into those though until others had a chance to level up.

Water heater story:
Our house water heater was put in 1993 and it needed to be replaced. We now got a tankless water heater and my friend installed it. Now there should never be a shortage of hot water. I can't believe the old water heater lasted for 23 years.

I'm level 10 in payday. Gonna try to be on later, but it's not looking good for the next few days.
It is no big deal, I can play it whenever. I have this Lego game and LBP Vita I am working on too. I just didnt know if everyone possibly wanted to play tonight since I knew you just started.

Yes, I am replying just to post more about PayDay 2 to annoy Wren.

I'm actually level 90.

Payday is trucking awesome but only in a group. I remember I had a full group going for Payday 2 ps3 it was one of favorites co-op experiences.

Yet another Payday 2 post....

I just finished Lego Movie plat.

I would be down for PayDay 2 if we get a few people tomorrow night. A friend of mine and I barely started it a couple months ago (same guy I am playing SR4 with). If he is around and we have a spot he would probably join us.

Pinball Arcade Seasons 1-3 are 14.99 each on Steam, 19.99 for the Pros.  Zen tables are mostly 50-75% off.  Good for another ~16 hours as part of the Lunar sale on Steam.

How're you liking that, and how many people do you have in your house? From my understanding those are cheaper for 1-2 people but as you add more they get to be less cost-effective than a tank.
