PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Started Helldivers last night. It's decent, but the disconnections are almost game breaking. They always seem to happen right at the end of the mission as well.

Started out playing solo, but it's much more fun with a couple other players. Probably won't be putting too much time into it, unless they fix the connectivity problems.

Edit - Of course just happened two times in a row as I'm waiting for the shuttle. :wall:
It's worth mentioning that it used to be common practice to kick people out of a game at mission end if they joined halfway through. I think it was meant to troll people who just dropped in towards the end to get xp.

So try only joining teams on their ship before missions and see if the disconnects go away. Or play with psnots, sounds like a bunch of you are playing.

Tyler is set and will attempt repairs soon. It was a pleasure knowing T-Bone. I give his survival chances 50-50 odds.

Never had a problem connecting with any games or gettng booted. Just a problem with players not knowing they can team kill or people using turrets that get people killed.

Oh man, found a pretty good package store today. Well, it's actually where my gf found the founders for me. But my first time in there.

Build your own 6-pack haul:

Boulevard Dark Truth Stout
Stone Delicious IPA
Dogfish Head Burton Baton
Sierra Nevada Celebration
RJ Rockers Son of a Peach
Terrapin Liquid Bliss

You did pretty good. I am not a fan of the Son of a Peach, it just tastes too artificial and over the top peach flavor. Liquid Bliss is OK, but it tastes more like boiled peanuts than it does Reese's Cups. The rest are all very very good.

Not electrocuted, Nightmare's advice and picture was perfect and everything was fixed and working within 15 minutes. Just took off all the wires that were hooked up, hooked up the white/blue blue/whites like Nightmare showed me in the pic, plugged in the modem and that was it.

Awesome, thanks again Nightmare and everyone else who provided advice!

Hmmmm. Well, I can tell you all that Tyler got his DSL up and running, and he is still alive. That last fact means he followed none of my instructions.

I was trying to lead him down a path wrought with peril. He stealthily evaded most of my tricks with the ease of a seasoned veteran.

I thought my last attempt would get him. We needed to do a final DSL "boost" to jumpstart the signal, which involved sticking 1 bare foot in a bucket of water while simultaneously putting a fork in the same electrical outlet as the modem.

The wife and I watched The Martian last night. I liked it. I thought they did a good job adapting the book to the big screen; except for the changes they made at the end. I still don't see how it won the comedy award at the Golden Globes. To me, it's definitely a drama where the protagonist uses comedy to keep from losing it in the face of insurmountable odds; not really my definition of a comedy.
I saw it in the theater and remember laughing. Watched it again Thr night knowing it won the comedy award. I laughed quite a bit. It is stretching to give it a comedy award, however, if a drama has a lot of humor in it and they write in a lot of things to make you laugh, I guess I could tilt my head a certain way and say it could win an award. I don't know who it was up against in the category to say it robbed an otherwise deserving nominee.

I will say this, I laughed more during that movie than I have watching some "comedies".

I remember the guy accepting the award on stage (it might have even been Ridley Scott). He says "thank you for the award, but comedy? Ehhh"

Well since this is the morning of posts for me, I may as well add that my wife just called me. She was taking our oldest son down to Portland for the weekend. (Yay for me, video game night!) She was only gone for 30 minutes before calling to say she is headed home and trip is canceled. She says something hit the roof and shattered the sun roof. Glass came raining down on top of her and my son. She didn't notice anything flying towards her.

I'm thinking nothing hit her. I bet it is some sort of window defect that finally gave way. Window didn't crack like something hit them. It shattered.

My father in law drove in-between 2 semis on the freeway in Arizona. The pressure chamber that was created caused his back window to pulverize similarly.

PS: wife and kid are ok.

That big butts not bad but I'm not a big fan of many dark beers. Dopplebacks, porters, stouts, brown/black ales I don't go for too often. Give me an intensely hopped up ipa or apa, and I'm in heaven.

The Following DLC for Dying Light is really fun solo so far, but almost unplayable co-op unfortunately.  People get booted every 10 minutes or so.

Yeah I liked the Blue Moon First Peach so I think I'll like the Son of a Peach. Liquid Bliss didn't sound like something I was sure I'd like but it was different so I had to try it.

I have high expectations for Burton Baton, it set me back $3.25. 4 of those 6 were $1.XX though.

That was me. My favorite Leinenkugels beer. What'd ya think of it
Haven't actually drank it yet, I'll get back to you.

I wrapped up the specific mission trophies in Killzone Mercenaries so I think I'm about done with it now.  Not really feeling playing the campaign 3 more times and grinding out the MP.

Did anybody play Dishonored PS4? I remember a few people jumping on that pre-order price but also recall some negative reviews about the port. Wondering if it's worth picking up on PS4 versus playing the PS+ version on PS3.

Walmart has UCC for $27.99 right now. Actually just picked that up at BB. COD 3 is $40 everywhere.
This doesn't help me.

I want to sell the digital code that comes with the bundles because I don't want either of them and I can't find any Star Wars bundles in my area.

I wasn't super impressed with the game. I started it on 360. Didn't get too far and quit. Always wanted to give it a second try and finally did on PS4. I was happy when I finally beat it so I could be done with it. Just didn't click for me and honestly didn't see why it got all the praise it got (the original game anyway).

I will probably give Dishonored 2 but probably wait for it to be cheap.

I'm not getting the KZ Merc hate... game was fantastic and possibly the best campaign in the series... MP was really solid too but doesn't stand up to the console entries.
