Reply from the local brewery when I asked about what styles they'd be brewing:

Good evening and thank you for the email!  We will be brewing a number of styles, including an IPA, an APA, several seasonal flavored blondes (watermelon, blueberry, peach, etc…) an amber ale, and some dark beers.  Right now we are perfecting a Chocolate Covered Pecan Porter, made with local pecans, local honey, and local cane syrup.  It tastes amazing! Unfortunately, we are not able to sell it yet, but we would love to arrange for you to get some in the spirit of Southern Hospitality.  What is your number?  I will have our Director of Brewery Operations give you a call and arrange a sampling.

Pretty excited for this, hopefully everything turns out well for them.

I played a little while longer trying to catch something for fucking Derwin again last night. I think I'm gonna move on in the story and come back to it later.

IIRC I have around 77 different types of familiars tamed. That's gonna be one hell of a grind to 250.

 
I haven't tamed any yet. I'm not sure if I missed how to do it or just haven't gotten there yet--the girl just joined my party and I'm about to go do the trials. The reason I might have missed it is because I was falling asleep at one point. I actually don't remember getting the 3rd familiar at all; I was just drifting in and out while playing through to the next save point.

So the Iron Giant Signature Edition released on DVD yesterday, but the blu-ray isn't coming till some later, unspecified date in 2016. I guess they are still working on some documentary that they are going to include with the blu-ray version or something.

So I guess Far Cry Primal releases next week. I had no idea. 

Was definitely spoiled by those $10 BB certs, pre-ordering would have been a no brainer. Without it I'm not sure if I'll pick it up or not.

 
Speaking of grinds, the Towerfall grind isn't as bad as I thought. It's 1000 and 5000 rounds, not matches. No, wait - on psnprofile it says 5000 rounds, but the trophy is actually 20000 rounds. Ouch. Weird that psnprofiles would have that one wrong. Both truetrophies and playstation.com say 20000 rounds.

I saw this on a cart at best buy yesterday waiting to get put on the shelf and totally impulse bought it. Whereas if an old game on psn was on sale for $8, I'd probably say fuck that.

That was true for last-gen, but it seems that their PS4 games take longer to drop in price--Black Flag's PS4 version took quite a while to reach the $20-or-less range and Syndicate hasn't dropped below $40 yet.

True, though Best Buy's TIVs and promos haven't been great lately if that's where you would have traded it in.

Ive been hanging out here too long.  The doc says I could possibly have Anemia.  Blood count was low or something.  Probably just a rounding error or something but going to go back in three months to do another blood test to check.

I was in perfect (for a drunk with back problems) shape before I started coming here and I wasnt divorced.

The deal this week with the extra 50% TIV for PS4 games is nice. I'm trying to barrel through Uncharted 3 from the collection so I can trade it in for $30 before the deal ends Saturday.

 
So now instead of a group bugging everyone else asking about when they are going to play a game, we can now get a group bugging everyone asking what time they are all going to go to bed so they can setup an automatic over night game.

Your best bet for playing SFV with others is to come to Magfest this weekend. SFV tournament on PS4. No online required! No trophies either, though, I'm guessing. Hmm.

Any of the locals going? I'll be there Saturday with my kids (and one of their friends). My youngest and I are probably going to play in the Towerfall tournament even though we'll no doubt get pummeled. If I survive one round I'll be content. There's also a pinball tournament, but I'm not going to be able to do that this time.

This one fuck ing scroll on Teslagrad vita is pissing me off. The one where you press the button and follow it up by floating and trying to dodge lazers. It's so hard to do going fast. If you go to slow the scroll passes you up and you miss it! The rest of the game has been pretty damn easy otherwise.
