PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I'll be getting the Division as well at launch. I haven't played the beta this time around, deleted it after the last one and haven't felt like redownloading.

hmm... BBY is acting like I'm no longer unlocked when I should have at least another year... really weird for their site to have problems like this, maybe john can go over there and help them get things straightened out...

Beat Wolfenstein the New Order the other day.  Working my way though the various weapon related trophies.  Down to 2 of those.  Not sure if I am going to try the Uber glitch or the collectibles or not.

Played 3 hours of SR4 in coop last night got near the end of the main missions.  Tried to put an hour in this morning and kept getting disconnected.  Same issues we had the first night we did co-op.  Has worked fairly well till this morning.  Wasted of an hour today.

AC Chronicles qualifies for Target's BOGO on select Ubisoft games this week, but their website doesn't have shipping or store-pickup available for either version.
Thanks. Anyone want to split a b1g1 on AC chronicles with me? I'll pick up and ship, my store has the ps4 version (probably not vita but I'll check).

Just beat the Following DLC for Dying Light. Went with the
cop out ending and helped the Mother as I couldn't be bothered with a boss fight.

Pretty good DLC, I still have a million things left to do on it.

I still don't know how to respond when you guys remind me that several of you haven't played BioShock....

I doubt I'll give it another shot again when the remaster hits. I tried it back on 360 and played for a couple hours without enjoying it so never went back. Knowing the twist at the end doesn't lend itself well to wanting to push through it either.

Ugh... you guys are killing me, but I never got into the AC series so I guess it happens.   All three of the BioShock games are great... Infinite more so for me because of it's DLC though.

I'm assuming the remaster will fix the screen tearing on Infinite... gonna be buying it either way but I'm hoping they really put some love into this and aren't just trying to make a quick buck.

Played a bunch more NnK. Cleared all bounties and quests through Old Smokey except for one bounty back by the opening town. When do you get the ability to instant travel or whatever? That's kind of a pain right now with the way quests and bounties keep popping up at previously-explored areas. With the slow overworld walking (even with that bounty upgrade) getting back and forth is a bit of a chore. I'm also a little over-leveled so everything runs away from me, which is annoying.

Rolling in the familiars now, which is a fun mechanic. What happens when you have 9 familiars (3 per person plus 3 reserve)? Do new familiars get sent straight to the storage place or do you have to swap out with an existing familiar?

The game is still really fun. The only thing I don't like about it so far is the familiar naming bit. Why the hell after you choose a familiar name does it ask "Are you sure you want to use this name?" and default to "No?" That's such a weird, annoying little design choice. I've hit no on accident like five times now.   :wall:

I played a few hours of bioshock as well and it didn't really do a lot for me either, but I'm inclined to give it another try.
I played a bit of the first got stuck/lost. Decided I didn't care. Played/finished infinite on PS+. Liked it well enough. Probably never go back to 1 or 2 through. Would give a new BioShock a look though.

Bioshock 1 is probably a top 5 game from all of last generation. All 3 of them are real good, I liked 2 more than infinite because I like the underwater atmosphere more and didn't like how infinite handled weapons.

You get the town teleport right after the skull mountain bit in Hamelin. It's great, plain ol fast travel.

New familiars go straight to storage when you're full. The naming thing is dumb.

I went back to towns now that I can teleport to start cleaning up side quests and whatnot today. It seems like a bunch were added since I left the towns. I still can't find the second son in the first town but I'm too lazy to get a guide up so he'll likely be lost forever.

Nah I won't change my mind. It's a bit more than 5 per game and retail which sounds good for me. This is the version with the plat too, right?
Yep! I was going to play it anyways so might as well snag it now and see if I can get a few bucks for it after instead of waiting for the digital ones to all be sub $5.

Right in front of the mother there's a slightly hidden staircase. Go up the stairs and he's up there. Otherwise one is by the grave where you meet that ghost and the third is in one of the stores (weapons store, I think.)

Yea Bioshock is amazing. I'm in the middle of the 2nd though which I don't care for nearly as much.

Idk why you'll are so hyped for AC chronicles. The one I have is not that good. Much better things to use a b2g1 for. Be like mild and wait for vita. They'd be perfect for vita.

Yeah I thought about AC Chronicles too but I have China from when it was like $3. Might as well just wait for the rest of them to end up that price right?

Drinking a Duchesse de Bourgogne right now. It's a Belgian red. Bit too sweet IMO. It's got a good flavor and it seems done well but it's just not to my taste. Reminds me of Purple Haze in that. Bummer--always a shame to spend ~$10 on a beer and not like it.

Count me in the crowd that played a little of bioshock 1 at some point but didnt care for it much and never went back. never played 2.

I did play infinite on 360 and it was pretty good.

So I read something last night that struck a chord within me and I think I'm going through somewhat of an existential crisis. I'm considering selling all my games and pursuing other hobbies like learning how to play the piano. What do you guys think?

Add me to the played a little of Bioshock. I did like what I played and as a FPS that didnt make me nauseous, I do need to go back to it.

I ran through all three BioShocks in quick order and enjoyed them all. The atmosphere of the first one can't be topped. One of the best all time vidya game worlds.

My rankings are 1 = Infinite > 2

Just try it for a while and see if it makes you happy.

You mean me.
Not just you. I feel like I read like 10 straight posts about it. You're a collector though so it's a pretty good deal for a physical copy to be in your collection. If you guys can trade it in for essentially what you bought it for, than that's fine, but I don't play through games fast enough to ever think about that.

Nice, just found out one of the local Cinemarks has 5.50 Tuesdays. Fandango says Deadpool qualifies. Deadpool, here I come.

I'm the one waiting for Vita and didn't want it on PS4. Mild is the one that started talking about buying the PS4 copy.

Same here. I played all 3 on Easy (which actually made them -too- easy), and really enjoyed the story line and atmosphere of the 1st one.

(Although I wish they had moved the twist and reveal closer to the end. You really shouldn't have gotten to that point until you're about 80% done with the game)
