PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

bums I'll definitely donate anything I've got laying around. once you have an account setup or however you do it just PM me the info and I'll get to work. sounds fun.
Well one idea I had was going to cost people some money to ship but I was going to pick up a large TB drive and then load up my collection and mail it to trust worthy PSNOT visitors. They can grab all the music they want and there'll be a folder for each member. You just add your music in the folder and then mail to the next. This is just an idea but if there's an easier way I'm open to listen. The only problem is I have lots of music and Crazy Diamond has way more CDs than me. I'm sure Munky and Simmias have lots of music too. Then when it comes back to me I got a collection of your guys music.

I was joking about Yanni but I got an email from Ticketbastard that he's on tour. Go buy your tickets Zimm.

Just watched the South Park episode about women having sex with their students. Hilarious.

Nice. Nice!

I think I may go eat Mexican food at this really good place around the corner from my house tonight. I wish I could bring my own damn beer or something. Only choices there are Corona, Dos Equis and Bud Light/Bud Light Lime. I think they may have Modelo but I can't remember.
Just drink good stuff when you get home. Even cheap beer at a restaurant costs what good beer does at home.

ETA: Damn I was late on that one...

Started flame over. Took a few runs to figure out what I am doing ad I was about to trash it then it clicked a bit just now. Still haven't cleared a level but I get it now.

I like the twin stick controls.

It says to buy upgrades at each new run but I can't seem to yet and there are no prices on the items. When can I buy an upgrade?
You have to get upgrade tokens before you can buy upgrades. You get them from Miss Ion (hehe get it?) for completing her missions. She is in red clothes and has glasses. Always try to complete her missions in the early going, getting those permanent upgrades is huge. (you have to keep her alive to complete her mission too, of course)

I wrote a tips and tricks guide that will be helpful if you get to the point where you can't figure out how to get better.

Also here's my Action Henk review:

I dunno about this one. It's a good game. But you're really only going to dig it if you really start to get into it and go for the best run times. I guess I could compare it to Spelunky. They're totally different styles of games, but you're really not going to get a ton out of it if you're not willing to practice and devote a lot of time to them.

That sounds like a good idea, but the person you send it to originally only gets your music and misses out on the stuff everyone else adds to it. I know a friend that had a server that he hosted with all his shit that was password protected. But he gave the password to all his friends and you were free to download whatever you want. But again, that costs money too.

I have a very sizable collection of shit too from my times of ripping of Zune and getting CDs from my library. But my folders are all a mess with duplicate songs and whatnot. Once I get that sorted out I'd be happy to contribute my stuff too.

So more Bit.Trip Runner(2)?

Hmm, I'll have to try out the Zweihander, then. Apparently the 2HR2 attack can stunlock the final boss.

On a related note, do you think I'll be OK for the Catacombs if I use a Divine Claymore for the skeletons?
Yes, the claymore is another great weapon and is a nice, mid-speed middle ground between the smaller 1-handed swords and the ultra great swords. It's R2 is also a thrust instead of an overhead chop so it has a little extra range.

I watched this muted but it seems to demonstrate the capability of the Zwei in PVE. At the end you can see the pancake in action.

The Zwei does stun the final boss though he is also parryable.

Kinda.

If I'm remembering correctly, Bit Trip Runner 2 is more binary though, right? Either you beat the level or you don't? With the time aspect of Action Henk there are a billion ways to beat the level, and small little strategies like jumping at the end of slides can shave a quarter of a second off your run and you may need to find 6 different places to shave a quarter second. With Bit Trip Runner there wasn't as much strategy to me. Just remembering patterns and hazard cues.

Not that that's a bad thing. I enjoyed both Bit Trips more than Action Henk. It helps that the characters in bit trip don't look so grotesque.

Without me you would never get to watch Oscar winner Leo DiCaprio duke it out in Gangs of New York, or enjoy some good ol torturing in Saw 1-7.

So true. I'd kick Tyler out a million times before I ever kicked you out.
I ADDED POOTIE TANG!

Maybe Dropbox would work for you guys?

One question. When do I know that I have completed my first play through so I can start using a guide?

"you’d be surprise how much depth there is". Also, how much does being a professional Action Henk player pay?

I have like 250+ data DVDs filled with music and a bunch on my hard drives not to mention 300 or so real CDs. Haven't bought very many CDs in the last decade though with the exception of Kendricks' debut, a few Big KRIT CDs, and some limited edition of GZA's Liquid Swords that folds into a chess board, though. Music >>>> _______

Probably not much, but apparently it gives you the right to talk about how awesome you are at Action Henk in twitch streams non-stop, and tell other people how to play it.

On games like that, I play til I feel like I've hit a wall, then I jump on the web not for a full guide, but for a starter's guide of some sort and tips and tricks. I've already done that with Ironcast because of how badly I got my ass kicked by the first boss. Also because it takes over an hour to get back to the first boss, galak-z style. Ugh.

No Man's Sky LE would cost me $67.83 after tax. That's still a lot of money. I put in a pre-order, but I might back out and just get the standard edition.

Then again it releases 3 days before my birthday. #TreatYoself?

I was gonna ask how much you could upload to dropbox/drive/whatever M$ is doing right now at a time. Looks like that's been covered though

In part 2 there were multiple branching paths in most of the levels, plus the different difficulties, plus any extra dance moves you can do between hazards to try to up your score. Time didn't play a factor into it, but score/leaderboard chasing became a big part of the game for a lot of people.

Does Best Buy always put a hold on your card for the full cost of a pre-order?  I put one in for the No Man's Sky LE and the charge immediately showed up on my card.  I thought that shit wasn't charged until the game shipped.

Correct, hold from time of transaction. Not like amazon.

Yeah, hold. It'll drop off in a bit and the charge will go through when it ships. They just do the hold for authorization.

I've looked around at this but many of the sites only let 2 users download the music. If you have suggestions let me know.
If you use google music, you can upload up to 50,000 songs. You don't need to download anything, you can use the google music app on your phone, tablet, or use the site.

And just create one login that everyone shares.

I try for about 30-45 minutes, and then if I can't crack it I look online at a guide for the solution. I've had to look up the answer for one of the 3 goal conditions about once per chapter (15 levels) for Hitman Go. Those finish in X number of moves are often pretty tricky. The one I just gave up on and had to look up the answer for is a maximum of 47 moves (the others are usually in the 18-24 move range) which gives you lots of rope to hang yourself.

I could be wrong though.
Or maybe I'm not?

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE ANY MORE
Well fuck that noise. I'll just order from Amazon while I have this free Prime trial, rewards points be damned.

Amazon doesn't do dick with your card until ship times right?

Second time I've been 501st for a game on tt.

Problems with story and graphics aside, it's not really hard to see why ff7 was so loved. A lot of great rpg mechanics, fun mini games, and a bunch of side quests that offered pretty good rewards for doing them.

Well Ironcast sounded cool to me, but you make it sound frustrating so far. Let us know if things change any later on.

Had to mute your stream after a while, is there a way to mute the menu sounds? They get kinda annoying after a bit.
