PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Any of you guys ever swap around between car insurance companies? It seems like after a couple years with one they get super eager to jack up my rates however they can, despite the fact that I haven't had so much as a speeding ticket in 5 years.

Yeah look around every year when it renews. Never just let it auto renew. They know people are lazy like my parents and never look.

Plus I think they sometimes give lower rates to get you in .

I only wind up changing every 5 years or so anyomway though as it isn't worth it if only saving $50 for a year or something

Damn, I think some of my trophies in Croixleur Sigma just glitched. Should have gotten 2 more for finishing challenge mode, and nothing. Already checked to make sure I didn't have any more challenges to unlock. Sucks.

Sadly, my computer can't handle streaming the emulated games so that idea is done.

Also, the Asian chick soft rejected me.

I think its been more than 2 years since I switched now, but it looks like Progressive might save me over $200 over 6 months for switching, so that would be worth the effort.

My work sent me a 10,000mAh portable battery charging thing for our employee appreciation gift. Is this something that's actually useful? Is that a good size or should I not even be bothered with it?

Only once. When we bought our house State Farm wanted too much for their plan. Plus my wife had a different agent with State Farm and they were really a PIA about letting my agent become her agent. Decided to drop the renters insurance and pick up homeowners and two cars and a small umbrella policy. Much cheaper then State Farm wanted. This year the house went down a few bucks and the cars went up it was basically a wash so not going to even look this year.

When we switched we had to have the cars inspected at some network of places (mostly gas stations) so the new insurance company knew if there was any preexisting damage. Easy but still a PIA at the same time.

I did one car near my job and my wife took the other car to a place near our house. They were assholes. One guy told my wife to walk to the back and ask for somebody. The guy yelled at her for being back there. She told them the guy up front told me to come back here so maybe you should talk to him. He apologized but I told her fuck that place. We will never go there for gas or service. And we haven't.

Should recharge most phones 3 or 4 times. My Android phone has a 3900mAh battery IRC.

I have an older one not sure the mAh. Handy to have when weather is shit and you might lose power.

I was the first to quote you so if you don't want it send it my way.

Oh shit just checked the Which Wich app and the Meatball Grinder is listed! I'm so shoving that in my mouth this afternoon.
fuck yeah, I was hoping to God it was going to be next whenever they got rid of that fucking hipster superfood sandwich which seemed like it was never going to leave.

Gator with the hot weather arriving down here I'm looking for a go-to session beer for outdoor shenanigans. Founders All Day IPA sounds like a good choice. Any other recommendations?
Do you guys get Jekyll down there? I have yet to try it, but I have liked their IPAs. They just came out with a session IPA with a great name: Fixin' To

I wonder what percentage of people in the thread even know that saying. I am wagering you do. I can't imagine it or anything else will be as good as All Day though.

Gator, are you eating at all the great local MA places? They have a nice little hole in the wall italian place in your area, look it up. Something Garden, not 100% on the name.
We went to Lowell Beerworks 2 nights in a row since we liked it so much. We went a place called Fishbone tonight. I wanted to go somewhere to try a Lobster roll. It was good, but I preferred the food at Beerworks and it was considerably cheaper.

Sounds like I really missed out on that Garden place though.

I definitely know fixin to, most people from the south should.

Which again proves that louisville is the fucking north, people asked me about that all the time when i went to college there, most had never heard that before, good 90 percent of the school was louisville area or somewhere up north. Amazing what 2 hours drive time makes for stuff like that.

Speaking of beer grabbed this tonight, have yet to try it as it still has to chill.

Most likely drink it out of a Yeti as all my good beer glassware is in storage.

You guys talking about sandwiches all day made me hungry for one, so I went to Subway for dinner. I got a BLT on flat bread, and that had to be the chewiest bacon I've ever had. It was borderline unswallowable. This location is pretty decent usually, but I think I'll stick to bird meat next time.

Yeah. It's a good thing to have. I carry one with me and use it to charge my vita sometimes. That only works with a Vita-2000. OLED Vita sucks.

Y'all know any good 2-player board/card* games (co-op or competitive) to play? Looking to play something new with the Lady this weekend. We already have and played Ticket to Ride and the Catan card game thing.

*by card game I mean boxed with own cards/rules/stuffs, not games using a standard deck.
Are there any themes you're interested in? Summoner Wars is more fantasy based, plays like a miniatures game on a board but using cards. Netrunner is computer/cyber punk. Both rely on asymmetrical gameplay.

The Legendary card games are co-op, and you can either go with Marvel superheroes or the Encounters collections that have Aliens or Predators. They also scale up for more players.

Netrunner is fun! Only played it once, but it didn't take too long to learn.

I had that rotisserie chicken sandwich last week. It tasted good for chicken they microwaved, certainly better than the grilled strips, but I think it could use some BBQ sauce. I don't think the one I went to had it, as I didn't see it in their tubs of flavors.

Yeah, that's good. A 10,000mAH charger costs around $20 on Amazon.

Just for reference, Vita is 2200mAH. iPhone 6 is 1810mAH. Galaxy S6 is 2550mAH. If you go on a trip or something and take the charger you should be able to refill most devices around 5x, which can be really handy.

Just got back from Phantom of the Opera. The wife made me go. I fell asleep in the first half. Stayed awake in the second half but couldn't even understand half the words. I was at about 0% for Christine's lyrics and I guess hers were supposed to be important. Bummer.

Finished the story on Uncharted Lara Croft Edition.

Gotta farm some salvage somehow still to finish off a couple of weapon upgrades, got all the skills in one go. Missed the stupid talk to people trophy early on cause I forgot about it, so prolly never go back to get that one.

Still a pretty solid game overall, i'll pick up the new one when we get it later this year.

Bit.Trip Runner is done, but I think I hate the game now. Sorry, Zimm.

I want to play Runner2 on PS4 even more now, though.

Are you playing the PS4 version? Does the beach fast travel bug still exist?

I'm born and raised in Louisville and I know that saying... you gotta take into account that just because the college is located in Louisville that it isn't made up of just people that are from Louisville. Everyone I know here knows that saying...

Update: And now everyone at my work is laughing about the guy who thinks no one from Louisville knows the phrase "fixin' to" because no one knew it when he went to college here lol
