PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I'm down for both.

Does anyone have the APC and wanna do the vehicle trophy on Helldivers? I think someone just has to spawn one and all 4 people hop in for a trophy. You have to do it on a Friday.
I can jump on real quick if you want. Tyler and I are taking a quick food break from the division.

Has anybody here used You Need a Budget, and especially have you used the new web-based subscription thing they've transitioned to? I had heard the previous version of YNaB was great and I finally decided to buy it, but now it's not an application and there's a yearly or monthly fee. There's a trial, so we'll do that, but would like some input from others on it. We definitely need budget help, so we need something that works well.
I used the demo version of the old software before they went web-based. It seemed like a worse version of Quicken or my old beloved Microsoft Money. And the people on the forum were weird and almost cult-like.

I just use Mint and a spreadsheet to track my expenses every month. I think it's weird to do like YNAB wants you to do and say, "Oh well, I spent $200 on groceries this month, I can't spend any more because my budget says so!" fuck that. I spend what I have to spend, analyze it after the fact and then look to see where I can make cuts.

Well, it's a philosophical difference in how it approaches budgeting. Mint and the like analyze your spending after the fact and just give you pretty graphs and such to look at afterwards. YNAB deliberately has you enter the amounts you're spending and categorize them in order to force you to put more thought and awareness into your spending decisions.

I can hop on in about 15 if you still need it. Have the APC unlocked.

Also I can help with both UC2 and UC3 co-op tonight if people want.

I used to get really down in the weeds with my budget, but I've dialed it back. I go over my finances twice a month when I get paid just to see where I ended up, but I mostly just buy whatever I want. I just don't have very extravagant tastes.

Single and childless $$$$$$

I thought it kind of sucked. It wasn't much more complicated than my own Excel spreadsheet, and was definitely less powerful than Quicken or Microsoft Money. In my opinion people buying into YNAB are buying into the cult. It's probably good for some people, though.

Here's what I hear at least once a week from various female coworkers:

"Aren't you lonely? Don't you want kids? Hey - I want to set you up with my girlfriend! She has a great personality!"
Nobody really tries to set me up, which is fine with me. I'd be lying if I said i was never lonely, but it's pretty rare. I definitely am not interested in just finding a girl with a great personality, that's for sure.

And kids. Oh jesus god no.

Globetrotters game was good. They play the World All Stars now, not the Generals. All Stars led after the first half, but the Globetrotters came back with some solid basketball. They really stuck to the fundamentals like hiding the ball under their jerseys and standing in the rim so the All Stars couldn't get any shots in.

But then that baster All Stars coach got his hand on the scoring buttons and changed the score to put his team ahead with only a minute left! Then in a nail biter, the Globetrotters defied the odds and came back to win it by scoring 16 in the last minute thanks to four successful four-point shots in a row.

Man that's some good shit right there. I bet wrestling wishes it could write scripts like that!

Well, it does have a phone app. I haven't used it myself but if it focuses on being easy to work with and the portable aspect is convenient than I can see it working well. But yeah, different people do well with different methods. I don't think I'd ever be able to do the envelops of cash approach that some people use, but that's exactly what some need.

So I've been thinking about grabbing an Amazon Visa since right now my only CC is a Discover and that's not accepted in a lot of places. I was looking at the new 2000 on Amazon last night and it turns out they'll pay $80 of it if I sign up for the card. After trading in my 1000 at GS and trading in the 1000 Nyko Power Grip, the 2000 and the 2000 Power Grip would be only $12! Sold!

Finally had a breakfast quesalupa. Was good, but could use less nacho cheese sauce and more sausage patty.

4 out of 5 diamonds. Would eat again.

So this is bizarre. Playing Hitman Go and I've run into something on 4-7. Seems like a glitch but maybe I'm missing something stupidly obvious. Maybe somebody who has played it has an idea of what's going on.

From this position I can only move left or right, not up or down:

From this position I can only move left, not up to kill the guard with the gun:

I've restarted the game, restarted my Vita, and checked for game updates. Nothing. It's not an issue with the d-pad since I can move up/down everywhere else in the level. Any thoughts on this? Without moving up from either of those spots there's no way for me to complete the level.
