PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I think the oxygen mechanic is one of the reasons why I stopped playing. Granted I only played a few times but it was annoying enough to be a huge deterrent. I also played the fuck out of BL2 so maybe I was/am Borderlands out? I think I should give it another shot. I've been in a huge gaming funk lately and it's bumming me out.

Anyone up for Dark Star, The Division or something right now? Munky? Bueller?

Maybe I can stream. I've got the full Hitman experience downloaded including the new episode. Haven't touched it at all.
As you level up you can get better O2 kits making it almost a non factor.

I have been playing BL2 on XBox One. Upto level 68. BL2 is still a great game. Hope BL3 is more like BL2. Even when TPS was announced I wasn't feeling it. I waited for it to be on sale. Friend helped boost me up so I could run through it. Might not have bothered otherwise.

Getting to the later stages of Riptide GP2 and it turns out I suck at it. I've got a mostly-upgraded Manta and now it goes so fast and the enemies do as well that I'm constantly being bounced into walls by the wake and waves in the game. Boost goes on forever now which just screws control and visibility up. It's supposed to be a really easy plat so I must be missing something.  :whistle2:k

More like a Royal with cheese.
I can't believe it took me until now to notice you messed up the quote. :shame:

Started Riptide GP2. It's surprisingly fun. Certainly won't win any awards for graphics but the port is very solid; no loading screens at all and not a single performance issue I've noticed. The difficulty ramps quickly and the gating is a bit annoying, but I think that's more a consequence of deliberately not upgrading my current vehicle or buying the intermittent new vehicles and instead saving up for the Manta instead.
Hey how did you get the wheelie and stoppie trophies on moto?

The wheelie doesnt ever wheelie for me, I pull back but rider just raises up and the bike doesnt.

Mitch went fuckin' nutty on trophies last month. Kept up the pace on everyone near me tho. Too lazy to cut/paste the leaderboard right now.
I finished just over 7k, all mostly from the 3 plats on the UCC.

4 plats in a month too, I think might be tied for most for me. Plat from TWAU ps3 to go with the UCC plats.

Finally put space between me and sage and im slightly closer to garrus, about to blow by jimbob really soon too.

Oh man. I already miss sitting around playing my vita at work and just pressing buttons to open a bridge. Now I'm stuck in the office half the time making damn spreadsheets like the rest of you assholes. At least the other half is still driving around and doing stuff out in the train yard.

College baseball update:

The Florida/USC series has been damn good.

Florida won the first game, 5-4, with two homers off our closer in the top of the ninth, and then with two out and a runner on in the bottom of the ninth our LF hit one that was caught near the top of the wall. And earlier in the game in true 'the-baseball-gods-are-unkind-fashion', the Gamecocks should have been out off the 6th inning, but the 1st basemen made an error on what would have been the third out. The next guy up for Florida hit a 2-run homer; ugh.

Last nights game was a damn good pitchers duel, with the Gamecocks winning 2-1. Florida's starter Puk, a soon to be first rounder, struck out 10. Our starter struck out 7, and our reliever struck out three; including the last batter with the tying run on third.

Gamecocks are back up by one game in the division. I hope they get today's game in, but it's raining right now and is supposed to continue all day.

Played Iron Banner last night after getting home from the baseball game.

While MRBEEFnCHEDDAR was pissing me off in a string of matches, I did not hate-message him. Unfortunately, I can confirm that contrary to his username he does not work at Arby's.

You have to pull back as you're accelerating, not when you're already going fast. Find a map with a nice long straight area, slow down or come to a stop, then accelerate hitting left analog down. I went into a time trial to do it and knock that trophy out at the same time, but it took me a few tries. Stoppie is harder; you have to pull a wheelie and then hit L1 while pressing forward on the left analog, which makes you rise up on your front wheel. I kept not getting the analog quite straight forward and the bike would flip on me.

Fun game. Most of the trouble I was having was on 2-3 maps, but since the game repeats maps with several game modes and difficulty settings it was a pain. Once I figured out which jumps to skip and where not to boost I knocked out the highest difficulty race tournament on the first try for 7/9 maps, and the second try for the other two. Nice weekend plat to knock out. I'll probably check out Beach Buggy Racing soon even though it's got that annoying 1 Billion Miles trophy.

After 8 years, my laptop finally died on me. Fortunately, my hard drive is still good. Was able to put it in an enclosure, and connect it to our desktop. Thanks to gamestop, and some insanely high Nintendo tivs, I can just trade in some stuff for Amazon gcs to get one. Just have to decide if I want a decent one, or if I just want to get a cheapo and stuff my old HD in it.

Stayed up way too late playing Enter the Gungeon last night. Made it to the 3rd boss again and got fairly close to taking him down. Maybe a quarter of his health bar left. So close, yet so far.

Unlocked some more people in the breach too.

I'm as obsessed with this game as I was Spelunky, though 100%-ing this seems unlikely for me.

Just got home from the Rachet & Clank movie.

It's ok. Took way too long to introduce Clank and some of the new characters and situations seem like filler. And Zurkons were only there briefly and with a weird voice and as bad guys. I may have even dozed off for a little bit. The kid loved it though.

I did really like some of the PlayStation Easter eggs/shout outs.
Like when Clank is scanning Ratchet to see what species he is, images of Daxter and Sly Cooper, along with a couple other dudes that looked familiar. The PS2 startup sound also made an appearance in a funny gag that I'm sure we can all relate to.

TL;DR
Go if you can take a kid that likes action space movies, otherwise wait for munkyflix.

Zurkons fight for whoever summons them, so you do end up fighting a lot of them near the end of the game. Also one of the bosses in the new game is a Zurkon variant, and it's pretty awesome.

Ricky Gervais is one of those comedians who puts out a lucky good thing once in a while but mostly just peddles crap. Invention of Lying had some good moments but just beat it into the ground, as did Cemetery Junction. I couldn't stand him in The Office even though I liked the US version quit a bit.

Yeah they mention the summoner thing in the movie. I just didn't remember fighting them before, but I haven't played all the games. I would have liked to see more of them in the movie.

I'm hoping the collection goes on sale next week. (wishful thinking) maybe I could even get my kid to play it after we go see the movie.

My kid really wanted to play when we got home so I downloaded Going Commando. I still need to play it too so it works out good.

I had a dream involving some PSNOT people. There was a gathering at Tyler's house. He had a really big, comfy couch that fit him and 4 other guys on it. I didn't really see who the guys were but you know one had to be munky and probably Gator. I got to the party late so I chilled on the side before taking a seat on the floor in front of the couch.

Tyler was playing a different version of Until Dawn. He'd already beaten it so he selected his favorite chapter. It took place in a big suburb and there were four killers in the area stalking people. I vaguely remember a couple scenes.

One killer had a staple gun. His victim had just gotten home so he still had his big business coat on. The killer pinned him down and stapled his clothes to the floor before torturing him and finishing him off.

Another killer was watching a man and woman have an argument from the window in her office. I think she was the principal or something since it was at a school.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the third killer much. Maybe he was a crazy clown.

The final killer seemed more like your average knife wielder. He tried to attack a woman on a mostly dark street as she was walking. She was passing under a street light when he attacked. I thought she was a goner but then PLOT TWIST she had special combat powers. Like she was fast and strong. She dodged and punched him a handful of times. Then she jumped up and smashed him into the super tall street light. Like she stuffed his body into it.

The dream (and episode) ended there. I think it was like a cliff hanger with the super powered woman revelation.

It had to be the butt buddies.

Got em, thanks for tips.

You get more comfortable with the controls I take it? Need to work on online some more.

Working my through career mode. Just finished Assen at #2. Haven't won a race yet. I'm now halfway to level 4. Not sure if the improvement has been entirely in getting better at the controls or if the bike is getting better. The upgrade mechanic doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but I'm focusing on the engine for now.
