PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Have you tried disabling your firewall to see if that is what is choking the connection?
The routers firewall is set to medium (inbound reject, outbound accept), but would a firewall slow anything down? I wouldn't have thought so and it certainly doesn't seem to slow anything else down. I'll try it, though.

I probably wouldn't recommend buying it. I'm only renting it from Gamefly. It has some performance issues (sometimes takes a few seconds to switch cameras) that become worse when the game can't decide which camera to use when you're entering a new room and switches between them automatically. The gameplay itself is your typical "wait around for 20 seconds while you let the AI guard do his scripted patrol" that mediocre stealth games just seem to love. But with crappy Resident Evil style cameras. And the story so far has been all mystery but without a lot of real substance and answers.

Plus all of those damn collectibles. They provide the only back story you're going to get but I usually find myself skipping the dialogues you get when you find them.

I thought The Conjuring was on munkyflix or HBO but it turns out it was Annabelle. My roomie and I saw a preview for the sequel and it looks creepy as fuck. That first movie is good and I'm surprised he hasn't seen it since he likes horror movies. Think we'll rent it tonight.

We finally watched Room the other day. I swear I teared up through most of it. It's such a sad story but shows the strength and love of a parent and their child. Brie Larson and the young boy did an excellent job.

Saw this walking down the street in a potential new apartment neighborhood.

Just finished Uncharted

DLC is obviously going to be about Sam and Sully. Either that or they're just opening up the possibility of those two working together so we won't be super shocked when Uncharted 5 comes out.

I just got a message (said from myself but i havn't been on a computer all day) on cag that apparently spoils something to do with uncharted 4. I deleted it right away but heads up if any of ya see weird spoilers from yourselves today odd things on cag going on

I mean I understand what Tyler is saying. He's going after trophies because they're easy and simple to obtain. He probably won't go for the speed run or crushing trophies because they're time consuming and he'd rather move on to other things.

On the flipside, you all do spend way too much time thinking about trophies. Uncharted wasn't even out and there were multiple people worrying about and planning on how they were going to get certain trophies. Omg how will we possibly finish a playthrough with higher than 70% accuracy?! And then it ends up being super easy.

I still get trophies obviously, but I gave up being on the side that does stupid shit to get stupid trophies. I also quit worrying about playing a game that might have hard trophies because they'd tale forever to get. Just play games and go for trophies if you want. But when fucking therm, wren, Vig, and other non trophy hunters (basically everyone except gator to be honest) are all sitting here bitching about trophies in games that aren't even out yet, it gets a little ridiculous.

yeah tons of course. one latina milf got up to go to the bathroom or something and I was on the end so I stood up and moved into the aisle so she could get out. When she came back I was about to do the same and she said don't worry she could make it with me sitting. She proceeded to tip toe between my legs and grope my arm to "keep her balance".

We all know she wanted the d.
I was hoping it ended with she lost her footing and ended up on your lap. "So, how you doin'?"

the email said hey bro, but i dont know if it will say from velo214 or from yourself, but it ain't me. just delete it. yup. ill change my password on cag again later, idk if i was hacked lol or what but yup

Most of my trophy bitching is about the design side of things, though, which is pretty consistent with my bitching otherwise. I don't really have a problem with trophies that make sense but are hard and I'm happy to skip those. It's the ones that don't fit the game or were poorly designed (like MP trophies that require a community which disappears in a matter of months) or that artificially inflate play time for no reason that I have an issue with.

Also, you don't consider simmias a trophy hunter?

simmias is more of a completionist because he 100%'s the games he plays but doesn't play games just for trophies like Gator does.

Someone here said they were playing with the auto aim on. I messed around with that a bit with some of the chapter select encounters. It's basically like baby mode, it literally locks on to enemies no matter where they are on screen. You're not really "playing" the game at that point. Might as well just watch it on YouTube.

What the fuck are you talking about?

My aim is an absolute pile of dicks. I need to find this setting.

And you're all welcome for bringing up the 70% accuracy trophy which was hopefully the catalyst for stotch's rant.

Speaking of trophies and how awesome they are, this is the first uncharted game I've ever played on a difficulty over normal (I started on crushing because why the hell not). I get wiped like a dozen times on every encounter and I haven't even gotten to a 'real' fight section yet. You bitches that have beaten each of the previous games two or three times on this difficulty be crazy.

I just beat 1 on crushing. I actually didn't find it to be too bad outside of a handful of encounters. Mostly it was just about taking cover, killing a guy or two, taking cover, repeat. The encounters that were a pain in the ass were the ones where guys came from multiple directions.

I had a lot more trouble with Golden Abyss, which I played on crushing first. Maybe that taught me to get good enough that the first game was just more of the same.

"Interestingly, Pornhub found similarities between people who searched for “overwatch” and people with My Little Pony fetishes."

As I've been catching up on Bob's Burgers on Netflix, I thought of this episode immediately.

And there's yet -another- reason I can't watch Bob's Burgers with the kids present.

After watching the "ghost pooper" episode we kept saying "I want caca, not ga-ga-!" repeatedly.

Really strange, Amazon will not let me sell Uncharted 4 by myself because I'm not a Professional seller (paying $40/month). That's gotta be brought on by Sony. Really strange and a bit scary that stuff like that can happen.

I checked online when Shattered Dimenensions was $15 in the recent sale. Found somebody selling it on eBay in like-new condition for $21 shipped and grabbed it. The front cover of the game (pictured in the auction) said there's a Spider-Man costume included, but the only thing inside the case was the disc, the manual, and some pieces of paper. How does eBay handle refunds? I thought I was getting a gently-used Halloween costume with this thing and now I'm disappointed.

Not related to anything but I started looking at a collectable guide as I play through doom for the first time.
There are some upgrades you can get that show you all the items on the map. That helps a lot. You still need the guide, though, because the secret areas don't always have an item; the classic maps for example don't show up on the map at all.

Now that I've got those upgrades I'm just playing normally and then checking the guide for anything missing before I exit the level. That adds a bit of backtracking but I'm enjoying it more than if I tried to follow the guide while exploring and fighting enemies.

I particularly hate the heavy armored guys with shotguns/miniguns who walk towards you and don't give a fuck .
