I picked up a fewof these at CC, and I was wondering about what tey would go for. I've heard they were hard to find now(and as a GS employee, I haven't seen aNY), so I was just looking for some input.

one sold USED for 102.50 on ebay yesterday..... it seemed like the guy was 10 years old too haha yeah, there pretty rare apparently.

That's what I picked up. I got 2 of them, and I was wondering what my return would be. I don't have much feedback on ebay, so I was thinking of a BuyIT Now. If I did that, what would be a good amount to set it as. I'm basicaly trying to recoup what I blew on games.

selling on ebay will be tough if you have no FB

you could sell some cheaper items first, then in a week or 2 put up your gc games of phantasy star 1 and 2 with a buy now of $80 and they will most likely sell(assuming you have some decent feedback as a seller by then)

You have to be freaking kidding me??

nope..... he was like "this game is in good condition. this game is rare. my feedback is good." haha or something like that, there were 2 pics and they were blurry as hell, there is a thread somewhere with a link to the auction in it.

I think I only have one positive feedback as a seller, and about 7 as a buyer. I just haven't really done it much. You're right though, I think I'll look for some stuff to sell and see how it turns out.

If you have 8 total that's fine, just as long as there are no negs. $70-75 BIN you will definately get.

I looked it up, and they are selling decently for used games. But that is the gamecube version.

If I sold my copy with my GC, the buyers would just shit themselves and wonder about my legitness. Because I have the game and the imported japanese controller that is the combo keyboard/controller. My game is the USA version in the original box with manual, with working serial codes. For even more fun, I could throw in my modded GC and my japanese version of PSO, complete with box and manual. Maybe I could also include my memory card with two characters with high level items and then people would get really suspicious with my low feedback. (I don't buy alot of stuff on ebay).

As for the Xbox version of pso, they can't be that rare. I always see them on sale for $14 at my local CC's. I'd buy one but you have to have a Xbox Live account EVEN TO PLAY THE GAME OFFLINE. Totally lame. Is PSO rare for the Xbox? Because maybe for that price I should just buy a copy and sit on it until high speed internet comes to my area.

Haha, I just showed a friend of mine a link to the ebay sale. He about crapped his pants.

He is now most likely going to put up his used copy of PSO, his japanese keyboard controller, and modem on the auction block sometime in the future. He'd better get more than a $100 bucks for it. LMAO Now were going to scour every used video game store for copies...because I've seen a few here and there, but never bought them because I figured no one would want it.

I also looked up PSO for the Xbox...the Xbox version isn't rare, even new. You can pick it up for about $15-20 new on ebay.

that is ironic, the xbox version is supposed to be better anyways(xbox live beats the living shit out of whatever gc uses for online gaming)

As for not being able to play the xbox version offline, why on earth would you wanna play offline? the game is only fun online

The Xbox version of PSO is superior to the gamecube version in many ways except two:
1. gamecube has GBA support, so you get to play downloadable mini games too. So, you can play games like Nights and Puyo Puyo Pop on your GBA.
2. Amount of quests. Xbox PSO has the least amount of quests added, while GC PSO has a new quest added almost every month.

Some people live in areas that only have dial-up internet access, which XBOX does not support. However, GC PSO does.

The reason I would want to play offline is to be able to level up my characters and item hunt. Then when I get a high speed internet connection I can play with an already leveled character. Yes, the game is more fun online, but starting with a bare bones character isn't much fun. There is no reason this game needs an Xbox Live account to even access offline play. And what is the point of buying a game if you can't play it at all?
