I'm not getting a PSP anytime soon, but that is awesome for everyone else. :D I hope both (or soon all three) handhelds are able to do well.

Wow, price drops before the system even comes out in the U.S. (end of joke, I know that the new prices are the official ones, just wants to anger pspfanboys)
 
you wont be getting 3D games for 30, game company need to make profits you know.

the good thing is, psp games are likely to follow console games in dropping price after a few months.

$39.99 is too much for a handheld game. When I had my SP/DS I thought $29.99 was too much as well. Handheld games should be around 19.99 to 24.99

It's nice to see some good games at 39.99, as 49.99 is a little too much. Hopefully we will see some games below 39.99 as time goes on. I wish they would have kept the japanese cover art for Rengoku though, one of the coolest looking covers I've seen in a while.
 
GO to 1up.com and check out Infected on their PSP tab. Good reason to at least look FORWARD to a PSP, if you're not grabbing one right away. Nuts as hell, in my opinion. And, from the same team behind Armed and Dangerous.

I got 11.25 pm and no difference..oh well, not like there's any hurry ...

still, would be nice to see some immediate responses every now and then.

yeah but isn't mario also a straight port, made inhouse by nintendo themselves...no fee's for them to be paying...also weren't the ds game prices at xmass time between $30 and $40
 
Dont worry guys, most games will likely drop below 20 in one year. gameboy games rarely drop in price because they are expensive to produce, UMD games will likely follow console games, and drop to around 15 in one year. I also forsee a huge preown market for PSP games.

oh well, until then ill just keep myself busy with snes emulator on psp ^_^
 
This is what I am hoping, that people will get tired of the launch day games like lumines and I can pick them up cheap preowned ;)

What Emu are you talking about? I haven't seen any progress in cracking the PSP to allow user code to be run so we can runs emus like snes/genesis/mame/n64.

Those are the very same 3 games I'm planning on getting @ launch, though someone at EB said Lumines may not make the launch. I don't see there being a problem.
 
PSP.. i'll wait till at least a price drop in the system and some games before i start plodding down money for those games.. MGA... card battling MG/... i think i'll pass.. umm and o yeah XBOX 2 comes out. .i will need at least 400 at or around launch for that sucker..

It's a solid launch title now- UbiSoft picked up the stateside production of it. Kick ass on this one- it's seriously one of the titles driving me to buy a PSP.

Hoping that this is a universal price drop. Have the games pre-ordered at EB ( Untold Legends & Luminies ) but EB still has the prices at $49.99.

If there $39.99 then I will def be goin home with Ridge Racers also.
