PSP is gonna OWN !

Actually, here's the quoted numbers from Sony themselves:

2.5 hours for movies
6.5 hours for games
10 hours for just music

And these hours are per charge. As for the price, analysts are predicting ~ $300, although the only quoted number from Sony is $400+ (from the Sony Europe president from the beginning of the year - $415 for Europe and $450 for Japan to be specific). Sony stated also that the PSP will have region-encoding.

Personally, I don't buy the whole need-to-buy UMD media for music and movies thing. Not to mention, Sony veered clear about dedicating much to wireless, while Nintendo gave the full blown details. I have a feeling Sony is in a VERY rough spot now, especially after Nintendo's impressive E3 conference.

Edit: It should be noted also that Sony tends to overstate specs, and I wouldn't be surprised if these battery life specs are overestimated.

Also, DS is going to release this fall, although no specific date is given.
