Pump it UP $29.99 at Ebgames & Gamestop

Both the ps2 and Xbox versions of this game got a $20 price drop.

edit: A $10 price reduction makes the game $29.99. It looks like Best Buy dropped the game from their site.

Best Buy dropped the price as well. Thanks, dafunkk12.

It doesn't look like the $10 off $29.99 or more games coupon will work for this bundle, but there is a $10 off $29.99 or more for accesories that should do the trick.

I picked mine up at Gamestop the day before thanksgiving for $59.99. I say it was worth it. great game, no excuse to get it now.

Great, I really hope it drops some more. I have the official US release for the PC so I already have a dance pad and was hoping it drops down to $30 or $20 (which I think will happen soon).

Fantastic! Thanks for the heads-up, OP! If Used copies show up I'll jump on this, mostly because the game is excellent and, most importantly, it would be good to have two mats and some fun 2P Action going on over here. :D

PIU I think is the far better dancing game. DDR is too much about bpms and scores than style.

PIU makes a person look as if they're dancing.

If you're a big dancing game fan, this can be a fun change of pace, but DDR's still the superior game in my book. PIU is pretty much an arcade port with an infuriating unlock system tacked on. And PIU doesn't even save what songs you've beaten, let alone your best scores. If you want to track your own progress, get a pen and paper. Inexcusable.
hm.....can you use this dancepad for ddr games? I've been looking for a good priced ddr bundle with the dance pad...
no but I highly recommend DDR Extreme 2 (ps2) with the pad for $60. It is well worth the money considering the pad is decent for the money and DDR Extreme 2 is the best console DDR this side of the pond.

It's now $39.99 for either version at BestBuy, too. $10 coupon won't work automatically, but you could probably get it overridden depending on your cashier/manager. (I guess it might be in the system as an accessory? I know the In the Groove w/ 2 pad bundle I bought worked automatically.)

Strider, could you update your OP, so I won't make a seperate thread?

EDIT: Yeah, seems on the Best Buy site they're filed under the Wheels & Dance Pads category. There seems to be a 10% Off Accessories deal online, but I think people should try to get the coupon to work for a better deal.

Actually, you can use the pad for DDR (at least the ps2 version) but it doesn't work very well.

Y'know, I completely forgot about that one. Unfortunately I left my leftover coupon book in my apartment during the semester break, and ironically my parents' printer is out of ink. Looks like I'll have to do two trips to do my "money-saving." Thanks for the reminder.

PS. Could you update the title of the thread, too, to include BestBuy?

I got it for free, but I may pick up a 2nd copy, I could use another pad. The pad it shipped with lasts much longer than the pads Konami has. Maybe it's just the difference between 4 and 5 buttons.
bump for the $10 price drop.
hmm last week i saw this at BB for 39.99

great deal! :D

should i get the xbox or ps2 version though...hmm...

Hell yeah dude. Thanks for the heads up. I picked one up today at EB. The box had a lot of dust on it. It must have been sitting there for a while.

Keep in mind the pad is still shitty compared to what AM has made considering the American pads have been made by Mad Catz. I've get this for the XBox to say I own it and am not jacking it but I'm waiting for it to be hacked well enough to play it on PC instead with a couple ripped up AM USB pads inserted into true metal pads.
If the PC thing is pulled off as well as being to make your own backgrounds and add songs to the .exe game file I will be in Heaven. I already own an arcade copy of Premiere 2 with chip, now I just need to get a version of Prex 2 and Exceed 2 to legally copy all the songs I'd want on it with a few extra for my own purposes of making a PC2 or see an Extra 2.
Oh btw the DDR fan saying it's an arcade port, keep on complimenting it over DDR considering it's an almost EXACT arcade port which you can't say with DDR except with DDRMAX and DDR 1st Mix and basically AM shamed the shit out of Konami just doing that.
