Now that this has gotten great reviews from both IGN and Gamespot, does anyone know of any good deals on it?

Mainly looking for the DS version, but would consider the PSP version.

Just an update.... went to EBX and FYE at the mall in Stamford, CT... nothing.

Placed an order on Amazon, but it won't ship til June, so I cancelled it.

Help!
 
I, too, highly recommend the game. I have the PSP version. From what I heard it is quite a bit better on PSP. Supposedly the DS screen makes things a bit tougher. I don't know, it's great on PSP though. Worth whatever you pay for it.
 
Just a follow up: I finally got a copy yesterday at a GameStop near my office. All I did was a daily monitor of GameStop's inventory/stock tracking and it came up eventually.

I played for about 2 hours last night, and only stopped because I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. I think my girlfriend's going to be jealous of this game.

If your still looking for a deal, CD Universe had it in stock today. I just purchased from for 21.94 shipped w/ GCO.

Edit: Scratch that, looks like it OOS already.
 
I love the chase for a new and seemingly hard to find game. I was late to the boat on the awesomeness of Puzzle Quest, but I'm off to find two copies. One to play with the and the other to keep sealed.

Instead of making a seperate request topic, I'll just post here if I see this title in stock anywhere. In the mean time, please post if you see this in stock online! anywhere!

Edit: Just checked about 7 sites and they were on backorder. However, looks like gamequest direct has it. Amazon is taking "pre-orders" on their backorder if you want to wait to get the free S&H and no tax.
 
How much better is the PSP version? I have an order in for the DS one at Amazon but it seems there are some problems with both versions and am not sure which one to get. For the record, I do use my DS a great deal more than the PSP (it travels better is the reason why).
 
IGN and Gamespot both gave the PSP version higher reviews and the overall ranking on gamerankings is higher. For once a PSP game is better on the DS. Can't win them all.
 
The only really major advantage for the PSP version is that the graphics are significantly nicer. But this isn't really a game to play for the graphics in the first place. The DS version is just fine, and has some perks of its own (no companion bug, and stylus control is generally more efficient).

I really hope you are joking about buying 2 copies.
 
When did you guys see it for $20 used at EB/GS? I've been keeping an eye out on the website for a used copy of this game to appear locally and it's been $25 every time I checked.

How did you get those used links?? I can never find anything used on that site. Did you have to know the used SKU's or something???

Did you hit the "show backordered items" button (or whatever it's called) at the bottom of the search results?

Bigger and better display on the PSP, but shorter loading times on the DS (as in, none!).

Companion bug on the PSP, occasionally wonky stylus controls on the DS.

I'd get the DS version, especially if you play it alot anyway.
 
Just to let everyone know this is coming to XBL for the 360. As posted in another thread. I'm still unsure if I should go out and buy a DS version as well, considering the glowing reviews and current five star average on amazon.

when I picked this up about 3 weeks ago, the best buy I purchased it at had a TON of copies. Now whe I go somewhere and just look around, this game is no where to be found. glad I got it when I did!
 
If anyone, specifically the more senior here, is looking for a brand new and sealed copy of the game...I will sell an extra that I found just today at cost, plus PayPal and shipping. LMK.
 
The game looks pretty good, and Cheapy always is raving about it on the CAG Cast, so I might have to pic this one up as well.
