Quantum Of Solace Deals (Any Freebies)?

Most likely will see very few, if any movies, have bonus extras now that the competition is down with CC being out of business.

No offense but I don't buy that for a second. There are still plenty of companies (Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc.) competing for our DVD/Blu-Ray dollars.
 
Yeah, there are still plenty of places that sell movies, actively advertise them, and are known to include bonuses. One less store hurts, but it's not the end of the gravy train.
 
Oh well, I am gonna use a $5 off Target coupon. Getting it at Target, but Best Buy should had some Bonus/Exclusive like Steelcase, Free poster, etc!!!
 
Based on past experience I'm going to say Wal-Mart will have the following prices for QoS on Tuesday:

DVD: $15
2-DVD: $20
Blu-Ray: $25
 
I will go get it at Target (which I DON'T think the Exclusive book applies to Blu-ray at all).

If there are other BETTER deals, please let me know ASAP!!! :)
 
I bought QoS Blu-Ray at Target and it came with a $5 off coupon for the other Bond Blu-Ray's currently available. Just curious to see if this is in all copies or just those sold at Target.

I don't want the other Bond films, but for those that do this may entice them to buy at a particular store if this coupon is an exclusive deal.

Well how many movies have come out with bonus things like poker chips (like Casino Royale did) or other little pieces of swag like that in the last 2 months? Only one I can think of is the Wonder Woman little figurine with the movie at Best Buy.

Only thing seems to be what stuff Target will do to have exclusive stuff, usually a coupon or more content delivered digitally (see Twilight.)

Uhh not the greatest deal if you already own any Bond on Blu-ray...

But if you wanted to buy all the Bond movies on Blu-Ray anyway, Best Buy has the Blu-Ray 007 boxset that includes Quantum of Solace, License to Kill and The Man With the Golden Gun for $59.99. You can also get $25 off if you buy another 007 boxset with that.

For the QoS boxset, each movie is in its own sealed Blu-Ray case. The QoS boxset alone comes out to $20 a movie, which is ok though the Bond movies don't seem to hold their value and drop pretty quickly.

Yesterday would've been a good time to buy if you don't own any of the movies. Get the QoS boxset and boxset #3 which has World is Not Enough, etc from Best Buy for $95 + tax. Amazon's DOTD yesterday was $64.95 for the first two Bond boxsets. Under $175 for 12 Bond movies on blu-ray.

I'll agree with you that we are not seeing as many unique movie specific bonus items like the poker chips with most items being books, posters, t-shirts, etc but to be fair that wasn't your original argument.

I didn't get to see how much the 2 disc edition costs at Target, but the single disc version's going for 15-16.

Wal Mart has the single disc with a 2009 James Bond calendar for $19.99
 
yeah but a calendar... come on, i want a holster for my 9mm or something useful like that
