What would you guys do in this situation?
Game: Shenmue - 5 disc limited edition (all mint when I sent)
10.50 (Game) + 7.50 (shipping)
I sent a game (Shenmue - 5 disc limited edition) in a package First Class w/ Delivery Confirmation like I always do. The person receives game says its all good except for the crack in the case. So we have been communicating back and forth, he writes well at least.
I felt bad because I could have shipped it in a box instead of a package with bubble wrap. So I was willing to go partial refund, but he wants $7.50 refunded because that would be proper to replace the case and erase the inadequate shipping. I replied back, I'm willing to go half the stated price ($3.25) but now I just want the game back, to either keep or relist (with crack stated) and ship in a box. Not even sure it's worth the hassle.
Question is, should I just give him the refund and be done with this? Or keep offering the partial or have him return (refunding him in full + shipping)?
