ok, i have an offer for my psp, lumines, and wipeout pure. I'm just trying to figure out if the offer is worth it or not, as i don't know much about dreamcast and stuff. here is what he offers for what i said above:

capcom vs snk millenium fight 2000
fatal fury mark of the wolves
the king of fighters: dream match 1999
marvel vs capcom 2 - disc only
skies of arcadia
soul calibur
street fighter 3 : 3rd strike: fight for the future
seventh cross evolution sealed
silver
sonic shuffle
3 controllers
1 vmu
system
and also persona 2 complete mint.
 
No offense intended, but if you don't know what this trade is worth why would you even consider it? Not to mention, why would you trade a PSP, a current gen system for something as outdated as a Dreamcast as great a system as it might have been?
 
i wasn't sure on the value of the stuff. The reason i'd trade my psp for it, is i loved the dreamcast and alot of the games. I don't know alot about the values of it tho, and thats why i was asking. But, by the sounds of it, its not a good deal on my part, so i guess i'll have to tell him to add more or i can't do it..

also, if anyone could give me a round about value on this stuff, it would be awsome so i can see if he'd add more to make it even. I looked on ebay, and it didn't help
 
The way I priced my bundle, good or bad was:

$20 for the system, one controller and all the hook ups.
$5 for the controllers
$5 for the VMUs
$5 a piece for the games

I am sure some were more or less than that price, but I think $5 a game is a good price.
 
No, even if that stuff was worth $200ish it still wouldn't be a good trade because 1 $200 item is far more valuable than a box full of $10 games.

I DC isn't worth more than $30 and even the best games in good condition can be had for $20ish.

Sounds like you really want to do this trade if after all the advice you've been given you are still asking. Do you really want the dreamcast that bad?
I don't see how, unless you get a nice GEM in there for a game, trading your PSP for a Dreamcast would make any sense. Do it if you won't miss your PSP.

well, the DC was one of my fave systems when it came out, and i still love it. But i don't have the cash to buy 1 or anything. The psp, i'm over it. I havn't touched it in month's, or i wouldn't be trying to sell it for 170. I just don't have a big lot of fun with it.The guy that wants to trade is really trying, and has added alot, and i'm just tryin to figure if its worth it value wise.
 
Seems to me that you're thinking about the other guy here more than yourself, which is pretty nice IMHO. Once again though, just be sure that you're really through with the PSP. If it's worth it to you that is all that matters.

dr - oh no, i'm looking out for me to. thats why i havn't decided and was trying to get help on the values. I dont wanna rip myself off value wise either. I havn't fully decided if i want the DC more or not, which is a big part of why ihavn't agree'd, but the other part is i want a fair trade value wise as well.

Yes, that's a steal. I'd do it in a heartbeat. The average cost for a import DC system is around $200-$500.
 
c4 - no no, its a normal dreamcast in the trade. I was just wondering the price on the R7 import one because he has one available as well, not part of my trade tho.
