Quite possibly the most feel-good thing I have seen in years (video)
These types of videos are so lame and hokie.
This one isn't. It provides moments where you actually think humanity doesn't deserve to die in a firey atomic explosion or asteroid collision..

So, watching people from other countries "dance" should make me feel good about humanity? Congratulations, people of Poria, Papau, New Guinea, you have functioning legs.

I got something more out of the vid... It showed people in all of these countries, many of whom have political disagreements with each other...some of whom have been at war in the past. Everybody dancing...everybody having fun... It showed that we are all the same when it comes down to it. If we could move beyond our religious differences and other nonsense that we murder each other over, we might be able to move forward and realize our true potential..

Hahaha...

Yeah, I'm a sucker for feel-good videos, but this one did nothing for me. The song was soothing, though.

I had no idea people in the eastern hemisphere could dance! It didn't show any of that, it was a guy being paid by Stride gum to go to countries and be a viral video star by dancing a jig with the natives. They weren't mixing enemy tribes or anything like that. Maybe if they make a video where Israeli's and Palestinians dance around together to soothing worldly music, then I'll have my heart warmed by it.

I'm guessing you failed all of your social science classes in high school/college.

i thought that was pretty lame, it didn't give me the "feel good" effect it did on the op

and whats so good about it if the guy is getting paid by a gum company to go do this

Why, because I don't buy into this "OMG THERE IS HOPE FOR HUMANITY" bullshit? Give me a break.

But I suppose if you combine exotic locations with the right music, you can make something as simplistic as a pasty white guy dancing with locals seem like the greatest thing to ever happen to the planet Earth.

Admit it Mr. aloof badass tough guy...Watching this video, you had a moment where you actually thought humanity didn't deserve to die in a firey atomic explosion or asteroid collision...didn't you?

I fully endorse the firey atomic death of terrorists and other evil dooers. Cute, happy, "Sony" soccer shirt wearing African villagers? Of course not. Then again, I felt that way before wasting 5 minutes of my life watching that video.

Why couldn't Matt do any dances in Nigeria or Afghanistan? Oh yeah, because those people would have killed Matt dead at the first shake of his pale white legs.

Well I already felt like humanity didn't deserve to die in a fiery atomic explosion or asteroid collision, so it didn't quite have that much of an effect on me. The music is good though.

You are a dip shit. Get over yourself macho man.
You are a dip shit. Get over yourself macho man.
How am I a macho man? Others in this thread have said the exact same thing I have.

Oh my god, I just saw a black kid skipping on the sidewalk, and he passed an elderly white man. WORLD PEACE IS UPON US!

i just wish I knew how he financed that whole trip and would enjoying doing that myself, pretty corny if you ask me overall. Maybe if they used the Safety Dance instead I would have been more moved.

For once, VG has a point. I mean, you guys could just say "I guess you see it differently as we do", but you're pretty much just calling him a retard with no backing at all.

I thought the video was pretty cool, but I'm mainly just jealous of all those places that guy got to visit, and get paid to do so as well. I do like the fact that he chose the Stevie Ray Vaughan statue to dance in front of in Austin though.

Didn't make me feel warm and fuzzy or anything like that, but some of the dancing was amusing, and seeing the different places was cool. Decent music too.

I thought the video was alright. And while we don't deserve to die in a fiery atomic explosion, we most certainly deserve a horrible demise from an asteroid collision.

It didn't give me renewed hope for world peace, but I enjoyed the video. Interesting seeing how people in different parts of the world interacted with a random American guy dancing.

It's kind of cool to see the same person in so many different locations, but it didn't make me "warm and fuzzy inside."

I think using the ridiculous amount of money all those trips must of cost to provide food to those suffering from hunger would of been a better use.

And just for reference, he did a video like this a few years ago, on his own dime, before Stride took notice and sponsored a larger-scale one.

And I think it's fantastic.

Porn makes me feel warm and fuzzy. This bored me and I closed it in less than a minute. I'm with VG. Whats the big fucking deal? You take the camera off them and they're douchebags again.
