I still remember going to work early sunday morning and hearing the news over the radio. I was floored, couldn't believe it. Called up wifey and told her to tune into MTV to see what they were saying.

Then his album came out and knowing that we would never hear this rapper spit another line out was amazing. Listening to the track with him and Bone Thugs was like dam this mofo got skills.

So many classic lines one of my favorites

"N***** get mad I get more Butt than ash trays"

Of course listening to him spit rhyme after rhyme of Ten commandments amazed me.

I care not about his death nor 2pac's. They both sucked about 85% of the time and neither is as good as most rap today. And with that said, gangsta rap in general and anything about "bitches, cars, and money" just sucks ass in general.

Probably not, but I still think its fucked up to laugh at anybodys death. That person was somebodys family and meant much to other people and now they are gone.

Though I think tupac is much better. Though, nothing beats bone thugs n harmony (except their new album, which I can't stand). The art of war is the greater rap album ever.
 
I can all but assure you that none of his family posts here, so we don't have to worry about offending them, either.

I may be brash and callous, but, for the most part, I know my limits and try not to offend people. (that i don't hate)

Looks like the majority on this board listens to Country and Britney Spears. I seriously doubt any rappers by today standards comes even close to creating the original lyrics and beats Notorious once did. Of all the artists these days I can't even play through an entire CD without having to skip tracks to find a good song.

So, you either like rap or country and britney? How old are you? I only really like mid 90's gangsta rap, and I don't like new hip hop at all. I like new age, goth, accoustic guitar, atmospheric, industrial (all with female voices, rarely like male voices) etc. I like some things outside of that (such as tori amos) too.

exactly what I was thinking. I wonder how you would feel if one of your indie rock or techno or whaterver the hell you listen to idols died and people were dicks about it instead of respecting them.. Lot of ignorance on these forums.
