[12/20/23 edit] I know this thread hasn't seen much action for a while. It's because Raise doesn't put out nearly as many coupon codes as it once did. Most of the time they aren't worth mentioning. But the information in this post is still valid, and helpful, so I'll leave it as is. I'm still around to update the post so feel free to mention any coupons you find, or questions you may have.

Tips:
1. The most common issue with ordering is needing to be verified. Raise has very strict security checks and your order may be flagged if there are any discrepancies between your payment and registration info. This most often affects new users and you will need to call them to sort it out.
Raise customer service number is (888) 578-8422. If you call during business hours and it tells you the phones are down, it just means they are busy. Try calling again in a few minutes.
CAGs have reported the phone reps are usually pretty nice and helpful, but getting connected can be slow.

2. Using the app will allow you to pay with Paypal and will even reserve the card in your cart for 10 minutes. This is extremely helpful during popular sales. On the app, the enter promo code section is a little easy to miss, it's right under the word Subtotal in the shopping cart.

My experience has varied. Some codes right away, sometimes much longer.

The other day my GF signed up and bought some codes and she had to call in to verify (1st time purchase).

Yeah something was weird with the app. I had to log out and back in, then I saw the proper percentages.
 
Xbox is up to 16% off.

Playstation is up to 6.9% off.

E-shop is up to 11% off.

Gamestop is up to 6% off.

Don't forget to use a referral code if you are a new member for extra $5 off when signing up. Code 10RAISEAF still gives $10 off for new members at checkout also, who are looking to spend over $50. So it is still better than the extra 3% off with code BFJULY

I don't think Raise manipulates the prices for eShop cards unless they are the seller behind the codes. I sold a Starbucks card on Raise and set the discount myself.

well they must be because unlike PSN & XBL the eShop cards routinely have a worse discount when they do sales like this

right now everything is 5% off when before today's sale it was 6% off $20, 7% off $35, and 8% off $50 cards

and I bet you they'll go right back to those discounts tomorrow when this sale ends

Probably gone. You should have had 6 months to use your $5, that's not a short amount of time. If you call and get a super generous rep then maybe they might credit your account.

For initial sign-ups it should be instant. You can try going through the website instead of the app or vice versa.

I have no spam folder so nothing to check.  I just tried again today and still nothing.  I have now sent an email to their customer support to see if that works.  I'm not going to attempt to buy Xbox cards though them if I can't receive the emails with the codes from them.

Their security checks can be finicky and flag you for any discrepancies between the account and credit card/paypal info. You will need to contact customer service so they can verify your account manually. Then you should be good to go.

Closed today, though, and the only reason I was trying to buy was to get my friend the BL3 season pass on PSN. I just bought her the Super Deluxe from Amazon for the same price instead.

48h wait from Amazon vs instant gratification from Raise. Sucks to be Raise, because all my cards have a middle initial and they don't have a spot for that and I can't be bothered to run their fucking obstacle course on this.

Like daisy said, raise doesn't play around. Had to phone verify and they basically did a credit check asking me questions that are true or not. It was a hassle.
