I would try to get one as a gift, but the refurbished games usually have that HUGE refurbished yellow banner on the cover art, right?

I've had good luck buying from VIP Outlet on Walmart.com.  I picked up 1 copy each of Rainbow Six Siege for the Xbox One ($9.99) and PS4 ($18.42).  Both copies were resealed but complete.  There was a blue sticker on the case itself but the sticker was removable without leaving any residue.  

There some additional games on Walmart.com from this seller including this one:

:3ds: Fire Emblem Warriors $16.00

I would suggest doing some digging to see what's available ;)

A quick Google search of "vipoutlet reviews scam" told me all I need to know. :x took a chance ordering through Walmart but I am not going anywhere near their website.
 
I have a tracking number for the XC2 SE I ordered. Hoping for the best here. They have decent feedback on their eBay store.

My CC will have my back if they try anything fishy.
 
Ordered 1 of the Mario Odyssey that was posted earlier and that has shipped. I have ordered from their Amazon.com storefront and haven't had any issues but will keep an eye on the credit card just in case.

I got one of my two "like new" $40 Xenoblade Chronicles 2 SE today.

Soundtrack is still sealed. Book has some very minor creasing and is unwrapped. Steelbook is immaculate. Haven't checked it see if the gold coins were redeemed for the cartridge.
 
Just got my order for Refurbished Fire Emblem warriors for 3DS ($16) and Refurbished Pokemon: Ultra Sun Starter Bundle for 3DS ($16.77). Both were in "Like New" condition when ordered from Walmart website. Very pleased with condition of all three games

Received my refurb Fire Emblem Warriors.  No manual but it came with a game, case, cover.  So, for the price, I can't complain.  Better than what I would have gotten from Gamestop (game only no case/cover) and cheaper.

 
Received my Pokemon Ultra Sun game.  Case was a little dinged up, but that may be from shipping.  Game was included, seems to work just fine!  No manual as well.

 
I just got my 2nd Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Special Edition that was listed as "like new". This one is CIB. The book is sealed. The CD is sealed. The steelbook looks to have never been touched. The outer box has some very minor creasing around the corners. The book has a very minor crease on the non spine corer of the front cover. 

These two SE were 100% wins. Ordered directly from their website. 

I also just redeemed the coins for both cartridges, and they both load and play just fine.

Ordered Terraria 3DS from their site and got it today. It is said like new condition and come without a case but with a manual and the catridge. Only 10 dollars. Works for me.

 
Fire Emblem: Fate Birthright like new condition only cost 15...I wonder whether it will come with the case or not :whistle2:

 
Got both my Hey Pikmin and Fire Emblem Warriors today and both were missing the instruction manual like everyone else brought up, but complete otherwise and work. Also side note, Fire Emblem Warriors on 3DS might've been a bad choice in remembering how many enemies they gotta cram on screen at once on that screen.

Are you certain those titles come with physical booklets? Did they have a little pamphlet advertising Nintendo Power or something in them? I can't recall the specific titles, but I know I've gotten several brand new 3DS games that didnt come with physical manuals. They did have digital manuals, though, so maybe that's the case here?

Yeah, you're right. I Was more thinking the little warning fold outs which seem to be more the standard.
