Regarding the Shadow of the Colossus Deal Back in July

Just a heads up to anyone else who ordered Shadow of the Colossus from Amazon back in July when they had it for 29.99.

I've been waiting for this game for quite a while, and I figured I'd probably be getting it shortly, so this morning I logged on to Amazon to check my order status. I couldn't find any record of the order. I went through all my old e-mails and it turns out they reneged on the deal a few days after I ordered it and just up and canceled my order.

We are sorry to report that we will not be able to obtain the following

Though we had expected to be able to send this item to you, we've
since found that it is not available from any of our sources at this
time. We realize this is disappointing news to hear, and we apologize

pay for items when we ship them to you.

i'm so ing sick of amazon cancelling orders. seeing it happen to you pisses me off again.

in one month i had 2 orders cancelled - one was a TV which i guess their dumb ass listed at the wrong price and the infamous TRU bare bones bundle.

you're going down amazon...your bitch ass is going down...(after states start implementing mandatory tax charges on orders)

I actually updated that old thread. After they cancelled the initial orders, a couple weeks later they had the item restocked. I called and asked if I could get my order reinstated since it was cancelled due to the lack of the item. The Service Rep complied and set up a new order for me for $29.99 w/ free shipping. It shipped yesterday...

Well thats kind of shocking that its not 50. It seems like most new ps2 releases ive bought have been 50 at bb or eb. I'm happy this is 40, thank you for pointing that out to me Darin
