Lucky Number Slevin. I thought this movie really sucked and can't recommend it.

Lucy Lui's character and sub-plot was almost completely unnecessary. Especially the plot-twist where Bruce Willis didn't really kill her. I mean why would Bruce care that she has his picture. Hartnett could have easily deleted it from the phone while she was sleeping or talked his way out of the situation.

I agree one hundred percent.

In addition, the entire ending was so contrivied, it felt like the director/editor/writer watched the first cut of the film, realized it wasn't good at all, and had to all these connections for some sort of twist ending. Never mind the fact it wasn't a twist ending if I figured it out in the first 5 minutes. Awful movie.

God told me to

A semi cheesy 70's horror/sci-fi flick written and directed by Larry Cohen. It stars a young Deborah Raffin. Andy Kaufman has a bit part as a psycho cop that goes on a shooting spree. The film is a little dated and the plot is at times misleading but still entertaining in a weird way.
The Departed and Lucky Number Slevin... 2 hrs apart
I saw them both in the same day. I loved both of them... I don't see why some CAG didn't like it. If you liked Departed give it a shot.

Yeah I thought they were both really good, and I just saw Inside Man, which IMO was great

Brotherhood of the Wolf

A French flick with amazing cinematography, really filmed quite well, but very linear plot and predictable from the get go. Worth watching once

Just finished Munich...surprised me how good it was, though the story was so basic. Tomorrow night...special screening of The Prestige. I have a feeling its going to be my favorite movie of the year. I guess that would make it two years in a row for Nolan making my fav movie (as well as Memento in 01)
Little Miss Sunshine
One of the best films ever ^

I just saw the Hostage again, pretty good thriller
Thanks for linking to the IMDB entry of it, it's a very unknown and obscure film that almost no one has ever heard of
I think that's an admirable feature to a post. Everyone should be required to do it.

King Kong- ... all I can say is Peter Jackson wasted a megaton of money. And yes, I did just use megaton as a measurement of weight.

My friends and I went to The Prestige earlier tonight. Awesome fucking movie even though I had all the twists figured out well before they happened.
Thanks for linking to the IMDB entry of it, it's a very unknown and obscure film that almost no one has ever heard of, kind of like my acting career (except I'm serious about my acting career).
Fixed.

American Pie 2 - Similar to the first, but I enjoyed it a bit more, especially when Jim smacks that kid in the face with the trombone
