Enjoy your soon-to-be burnt butthole
Do you really feel pain in your bung from spicy stuff? I put red pepper flakes and sriracha in everything I eat and haven't experienced this phenomena.

Also, what's the "lol Enslaved" business about in your motto. That game was awesome. :bomb:

Manthing has IBS, so he's pretty sensitive when it comes to shit. You, on the other hand, seem to have a high tolerance for shit, as evidenced by the second part of your post. :lol: ;)

Gratz! I wish you many happy years of marital bliss!

How was your birthday?

Seemed like just another day. Well, other than the wife taking me to lunch and us getting our son's Christmas shopping completely done and our daughter nearly done. I'm sure we'll get more presents, but big present and stockings are pretty much done.

He's going to love this:
Not all Indian food is spicy.

I do like spice, though... It does nothing to my assho', so I'll be alright. :cool:
My problems with Indian food have nothing to do with heat, I eat hot sauces/salsas/wings all the time with no ill effect.

It's the blends of spices they use. No matter what or where I eat, Indian food causes mayhem to my lower GI tract.

Yeah, and it's aggravated by the large quantities of alcohol I consume. That's not the point. Rogans, curries, tandooris, marsalas all leave me at the beck and call of my bung for the rest of that day.

I've seen this. Why are there like 5 different competing edutainment ds-clone systems out there? I've thought about getting one of them but so far the kids seem fine playing the nick jr games on the DS.

Thanks!

I did have the bachelor party already, went to Foxwoods in CT. Lost $$, but the buffet was great :lol;

I'd go that route too, but my son is only 3 and not sure how he will handle a DS. Hoping he likes this and I can subsequently use it for my daughter when she reaches that point.

I'm sure he will be using a DS in another year or 2.

Get a Tag Jr. and next year a Tag- Then maybe a DS. My kid and all her friends & cousins love those things . . . and they work, my kid started sight reading at 4.

FWIW, my kid is much more interested in my iPhone and wife's iPad than our DS- she doesn't even play any of the edutainment titles we bought on the DS.
Also, those tag pens are indestructible and the batteries last for months.

We're kind of forced to get a Tag. Sister-in-law got the starter that didn't come with the pen for him for his birthday. Couple that with the Toy Story bundle and we're hoping he gets it for Christmas. If not, he'll get it later. I figure he will get my DS whenever I upgrade.

Alright Internet I left a message with this girl. Let's see what happens. I played it slow and safe and asked if she would want to get together and catch up some more.

~~~~~~~
Hopefully the Pack can kill off the Cowboys tonight.
Good news Twin Cities pinballers - Blainebrook bowl got in Stern's Batman recently!
Now I don't have to go to SS Billiards and put up with that asshole.
I hope so too. I want the number one pick so the boys can trade down and rebuild their lines.
Hopefully the Pack can kill off the Cowboys tonight.
And it would appear that is exactly what they are doing.
Edit: How fitting! They were 4 seconds away from that play being challenged, since the Cowboys had just used their last time out on the last defensive set.
Wow the treehouse of horror halloween special has gone downhill in the last couple years. Sure, the Simpsons are nowhere near as good as they used to be, but the normal episodes are at least decent. ToH? Not so much sadly.
Really? I thought it was pretty good, not as good as last week's but I still enjoyed it.
Especially the part where Rick and Glenn walked around covered in zombie guts.
There were some bright spots but most was just bad acting, worse characters and questionable zombie action (running, jumping, using tools).
This site is very interesting,you really had some great topics to be discussed in here. Well as a matter of fact i get very impressed for having your site in here. Thanks a lot having me here and more power to your site,and good luck.
I've only been awake for 45 minutes and I've already found my quote of the day.
I was blindsided while watching the movie, especially when superstar Janet Jackson appeared on screen looking like Michael Jackson with breast implants.
questionable zombie action (running, jumping, using tools).
This makes me mad in Zombie movies.
The rock against the window pissed me off. Can't the same thing be accomplished with the masses of Zombies pressing the glass/gate until it cracks/gives-way?
I do like seeing Rowdy Burns get work.
Happy Birthday Bruce!
(assuming it's your birthday today)
Yup..the whole show has been going downhill for a while now. Such a disappointment last night.
I think the Simpsons is as good as ever. The only show I watch regularly that is slipping imo is The Office. Its always about Micheal. Why? Its an ensemble show. Not every episode has to revolve around him. I hate the character of Micheal Scott and can't wait till he's gone but something tells me it'll be all downhill from there.
Happy Birthday, Mak.
Thanks zombie pirate man.
I'm not to crazy about the tag things. I'd rather sit and read with them. My almost 3 year old is 'reading' the stories on her own from memorization. (one. day. 3. bears!. oh no! my bed!) And the 5 year old only cares about car magazines.
Someone on here was gracious enough to send us the Kai-Lan and Backyardigans DS games. And I was really surprised how easily both of them were able to complete those. Minus any part that requires a microphone. It's also funny how the little one will turn anything into a stylus.
I'm with you on The Office Mak...the show has a great cast and characters that they're just not writing stories for. I'm so done with Michael Scott, and I do hope that the show continues without Michael.
Also I have a feeling that Darryl will take over Michael's position.
I kind of didn't like last night's episode, but
Maria flipping off the world and showing her fat titties
was pretty funny.
Scott Pilgrim is only 400pts this week. Buy it if you like beat 'em ups!
No online coop = no buy
My kid was reciting books from memory as well at about that age, but with the Tag pens she could actually ID well over 150 of the Dolch sight words before she even began to learn them at her pre-K when she was assessed this fall.
We've been doing the phonics set (which I could only find online for some reason) for about 2 months and she's already sounding out words- well ahead of her age group by years. The basic math, sorting and matching stuff from the puzzle game books also put her ahead of the curve last year.
My mom, who taught school for 30+ is stunned by how effective this thing is, we stopped doing the 5 & 6 year old flash cards when my kid was 4 and I owe most of that to the Tag pen.
I seriously encourage you to try it before you dismiss it, it does a lot more than just read the book to your kid.
Holy Shit, new Call of Duty tomorrow. :whee:
I hope amazon delivers it early. I don't wanna have to be siting around until 5-6pm waiting for it to be delivered.
