Reminder: do not ship GB/GBA etc games in bubble mailers!

That's my biggest concern with any game which has a paper box of sorts, not just GB/GBC/GBA games. Most recently, I got my SMT Digital Devil Saga Deluxe but the seller shipped in an bubble envelope and it arrived crushed.

I rarely ship in a bubble mailer anymore.. they're a waste of money since they don't protect anything.
Not that much. I mean, GBA games seldom are. But I'm feeling a little bit.... crushed, shall we say?
I see. I had that happen once, since then I always make sure they always get shipped to me in boxes, even if it costs a bit more.g

I will keep this in mind. Even though my P.O. follows my instructions (Do Not Bend, etc.), there is no guarantee that the destination P.O. or the ones along the way will read those instructions.

If the game isn't sealed, the best bet is to just flatten it. That's usually how I ship them out and I don't think I've received any complaints.
Or you could just not be lazy and ship the things in a box, it's not that hard.
Not being lazy can be pretty hard yknow ;) ...If it's used, I don't see why the reciever wouldn't mind/want the box to just be flattened (that's been my experience at least). I do agree shipping it ina box is the safest and most worry-free way, but I don't know how many guys will set aside the afternoon to tackle the task (i kid!).

All you have to do it "dismantle" the GBA box until it is flat (open up all the flaps). The recipient can then reassemble the box. No fuss, no muss (I have done this before).

I have had that happen to me twice, both times the GBA game case were flatten. Bents were on all 4 sides of the case, making it look not so good.

I had more than a few GBA games crushed because the seller ship them in those padded envelopes. It would be great if all the sellers could start shipping items that could be crushed in boxes so they don't get crushed.
It's still safer and more courteous to just ship them in a box.
I agree. Even if flattened, there's risk of the boxes being bent (as my postal workers like to shove everything in our mailbox).

It's not always easy to find a box the size of a GBA box. If I'm selling a game and the buyer doesn't mind paying for priority shipping, I just send it in a priority box. However, if I'm trading and the person I'm trading with is sending media/first class, I just flatten the box and send it in a manila envelope. Most of the boxes I hold on to are bigger, so it'd just be ridiculous to send a GBA in a box that's far too large.
I ship in bubble mailers all the time and my games always arrive in perfect order.

You folks must have a ghetto PO.
same here

pssh GBA boxes suck anyway, just print out the covers(in the sticky) and order some DS cases, i think it looks alot better.

Yeah, the only people that handle the packages are people from your local PO.
