Resistance 2 at BrandSmart U.S.A. for 28 dollars!! YMMV

just came back from brandsmart in south dade, florida and they had like 20 copies. Then I realized you guys had this thread. Any florida CAGers...go for it.

It sucks sometimes living in my neck of the woods. No Brandsmarts, no Meijers, no Fry's.... It seems like the good deals lately are at these stores, Brandsmart and Meijers anyway.
You've got to be kidding me! I just drove 20 miles round trip to try and catch this deal at FRYS. Now you tell me it's at Brandsmart?

BTW, Frys at Gwinnett Place in Atlanta is sold out of Resistance 2. Not that it matters. *sigh*
dude you should join us over at the ATL thread.
Does anyone know if this deal is good at Brands Mart in Ga?
judging from Momus's experience yeah.
Why would anyone want the hassle of:

1. Going to the store
2. Buying an envelope
3. Write on the envelope
4. Go to the post office

Price of game = $28 + taxes + $3 shipping + gas for trips to the store and post office = does not equate for the hassle and pain of only getting $35.

You guys are crazy
well if you're already picking up one.. you might as well pick up 2 and then an envelope is cheap and shipping is like 2 bucks and you can print out a paypal label.
Snatched 2 copies!

1 for another trader and 1 for myself. Although, I'm not sure I want to keep it.
then send it this way I will love to buy it from you

I know this isn't the conventional wisdom, but I *hate* the single-player campaign of R2. The co-op and competitive multiplayer make it a decent deal to anyone who's primarily in it for those, but the main single-player game flat-out sucks. I posted a review here:

http://www.playrag.com/article/resistance_2._half_awesome._half_terrible

...but if you don't want to go to that page, the jist of it is that there are one-hit kills ALL OVER THE PLACE, and basically, the whole game's built around the principle of "Do what the designers expect of you, whether they tell you or not, OR DIE."

It's a great-looking, technically impressive frustrating pile of garbage. I hate to say it, but playing through the SP campaign is one of the worst gaming experience I've had since Too Human.

Envelope = $1
Shipping for $2? Where do you live? I always pay almost $3 whenever I ship a game.

Paypal label = cost of paper and ink
Trip to the post office = $$$

Don't demand this game for $35 shipped
