Resistance 2 CAG Clan/Night - Get yo ass on! - Friday Nights @ 7PM PST/10PM EST
dude....its an fps. i think well manage. were not playing for paychecks =)
I just know some were mad early on when I did competitive because they weren't prepared and hurt their KDR early on. Oh well, I personally don't care, but as a warning I will probably suck the first game or so. :p Co-op I've gotten pretty good at.
i guess my meaning was properly conveyed. i dont doubt that the QA could do any of those combos. my friend who worked in QA for years until he moved up said the original comment to me. he said that midway probably just asked the QA people to put combos together... and especially 10 hit ones for the last trings. my point was that probably the only people midway that could do them were the QA people. some of those just frames or cancels are just brutal.

it might be another example of cutting corners on that game. eg: wheres the animated intro, animated endings for each or any of those characters, game play balance?, fatalities, etc.

midway has other bigger concerns like bankruptcy.
I noticed you removed me from your friends list, but that's all right (too many want to be my friend normally, and that just gives me an extra space).

Skirmish is easy. Run to the beacon, wait around the beacon. Defend the beacon. Kill the other team's target, or defend your own target.

Anyone who cares about their K/D ratio has probably already been playing a while.

Personally I'm hoping that by the time I hit 10K kills I'll be at 1 or above in k/d (now I think I'm 400/500 or so).

I may make it late tonight

To let everyone know again, I will get on at 9pm EST. If I see no one on, I will postpone to 9:30pm EST. I am looking into doing competitive just after 10pm EST. We might go back to co-op after 1 hour, or continue with competitive.

Since I'm the only one on, I'm just going to push the game to just after 9:30pm EST, or at least hope everyone shows up at 10pm EST.

The bad news is I may only play for just over an hour tonight. :whistle2:( I barely got enough sleep.

I'd love to come in, but I'm in the final stretch of Winter session and I've got to buckle down right now :(

PSN will probably show me on bioshock but I'm not even playing, it's just there :/

To let everyone know, I am playing R2 right now in the party. If you want to play, get online now.
I will add you and get on for approx an hour I like co-op.
Join the clan and I'll send you invite.

Likely won't be on tonight, Mana. On Monday night I went on a 3 1/2 hour co-op rampage and played from 11pm-2:30am. I did get all of the co-op Intel finished up, though. ;)

Thanks for showing up. Sorry I had to leave early, since I barely slept, I could barely play (heading to bed now). creid8 and StarkKat are still in the main party.

Great games guys, we really rocked those Skirmishes. I had to quit right after Mana did because my friend called me up. Subway and he's paying. Who couldn't pass that up?
I was wondering about that. You've been playing Bioshock for quite some time now 0.0
Not really, most of the time it's just paused, ready for me to just jump on when I have time, I hate sitting through the loading and start up screens >.

How do you get the Berserker Trophy? I used them all without being killed before they ran out... Do you have to unlock them all first?

You need to be at level 15 in Competitive and use the ones you unlock from ranking up

You just use them as you level up. Whenever I got a new berserker, I just equipped it, used it once, and then switched back. It doens't matter if you die in a match nor do you have to use them all in one match.
I live in Seattle and have a rough time making 7 as a meet time as I can't play until my kid goes to bed, want to spend time with the wife ect. I was wondering if people were interested in a second meet time at like 10pm pacific time that I can host.
Forgot to reply to this. I live in the Pacific Time Zone too. I can probably join in for 10PM to 11PM on Friday or Saturday.

Yeah, same here. I'd be in.
My soldier is now on level 26. I'm getting really close to maxing it out. I've done well too being the top player most of the time.
Yeah man, you are good at it. I love feeding you ammo crates for XP with my Spec-ops.

Don't think I'll make it tonight though.

Corko93
I am so in :)

EDIT: Actually I realised I misjudged the times.
Thats gonna be 3AM for me
any chance of an official CAG UK clan?

Despite my long day tomorrow, I'm still looking to attend R2 night and host, but wanted to let everyone know that I MIGHT change at the last minute.

That sort of time would be perfect for me :)
I probably won't be getting Killzone 2 till about May anyway so all is good :)

I just got an email from SCEA about a $50k Resistance Team Tourney. Shini really needs to enter since I know he could use the money. ;)

Anyway, while I know there's R2 night tonight, if people want to show up, fine I'll be there. If people don't want to show up, that's fine, I don't really care right now. I was gone for almost half the day due to job fair (barely got much sleep), and right now I just want to collapse.

I should probably be on tonight. I've been on almost every night this week playing R2 competatively so if there are enough people to play co-op and I get an invite, I'll join in.

I just finished the R2 campaign and am looking to start the co-op mode. Is there anything special I should know about it?

For CAG nights is there anything special you go through for your games?

hopefully I can jump in on this. been playing a lot since I got it a few days ago. almost done with the campaign. Played some competitive and coop with xxx today.

R2 night will be on. It will be co-op with a mix of competitive maybe.

If there's some competitive mixed in I might be able to jump in. Only thing left in Co-op for me is tricking out my Medic (and using the other guys if I feel like it).

I like when we mix competitive in, although last time I was there and we did it the cag squads were not doing so well.
I like when we mix competitive in, although last time I was there and we did it the cag squads were not doing so well.
The way I've been doing it lately is alternating co-op and competitive. I tend to prefer the setup.

co-op
co-op
competitive (skirmish)
co-op
co-op
competitive (skirmish)
co-op

I think tonight I will try:
co-op
competitive (skirmish)
co-op
competitive (TDM)
co-op
competitive (skirmish)
co-op

I'm getting better at TDM, I switched from the marksman to the carbine and get a near 1.0 KDR (with both more kills and more deaths). The secondary fire on the carbine is an instant kill as well (prototype ammo gives a free shot whenever you use it, which will need to suffice until I get the rocket launcher.

I actually prefer Prototype Ammo over LAARK. Prototype takes way less XP to fill, so you use it more often. The LAARK seems to be a little slower too.

In TDM last week we either got matched up against a clan, who were good/worked as a team/etc. We don't do any of those things.

I've been playing a bit of competitive lately, and even though I try to keep my KDR at 1.0 it's hard. I'm at .92 now, after getting owned this morning before I went to work.

Right now I think I'm hovering around a 1.3. I mostly use the Bullseye and Carbine, with the Auger and Splicer on certain levels. In TDM though, I use the Fareye a lot.
