Resistance 2 CAG Clan/Night - Get yo ass on! - Friday Nights @ 7PM PST/10PM EST

Nice, I cant wait for the dlc! I hope they have some more san francisco levels. I'm hoping for at least 1 big map for competitve and 2 or 3 other maps. New modes would be most excellent since I am not a fan of core control and skirmish formats in this game.
 
New modes would be great! Big treat for those who love co-op? Tell us more!! I gave up co-op when I hit lvl 30 so I could tackle the 10,000 kills trophy, but something new would definitely bring me back.

Just got into R2 this week and already beat the single player campaign (kinda short, but a hell of a lot of fun). I'm going to join the CAG clan as soon as I get a chance (later this week), and will try and pop in for R2 nights whenever I can. Might be a little hard though since I have lab on Wednesday nights, but we'll see what I can do. Nice to know everyone has migrated over to KZ2 yet.
 
I hope I'll be able to make it. Sadly, dorm internet is a nightmare. Got disconnected 5x within 8 minutes in KZ the other night. Maybe I'll get lucky..

Anyway, I will start the party at 10pm EST, and will play until around Midnight. I use to start early, but since I don't expect large attendance, I just start at 10pm EST.

You'll be playing a LOT of Competitive then. 10k kills does take some time. For getting quick kills, once you can consistently kill without dying, small DM can net you a quick 20-25 kills per 10-15 minutes.
 
i may be joining you all next week...yet another cag night to balance every week X_X been wanting to cause some harm to freaky for a while anyway since i havent played burnout in a bit. he wont show for UT3 so ill come to him :p
 
I've been trying to get my 10k kills with skirmish, but I guess that's the long way. I currently average 30-40 kills per skirmish. I'm only at 3.5k though and have had the game since the week it was released :( Deathmatch gets boring for me fast.

Great game last night, though I only stayed for 2. I had lag problems and died many times to pulse cannons and to people I thought were on the other side of the map. Always amazing when a pulse cannon blast comes out of no where.

The GAF clan doesn't seem active. I haven't played for two weeks, but I was doing well. I just needed the 10,000 kills trophy or whatever-- just to say how far I am in-game.

I have a headset, but I haven't used it yet.
 
I just tried to join the clan, but got a message of "sending clan application failed." Any ideas? Is there a cap on the number of members or something? I want to be one of the cool kids too :cry:

No, you don't get to be one of us :cool:

I think the clan might actually be full. Mana said it was most likely an error, but even if it's not, I'm sure clan members can be cut if they haven't active in awhile. Shini would have to fix that though (unless he gave Mana privileges in the clan).
 
ill be back when my semester is over. lab is on the same wednesday night... can't wait for map packs.

TDM. hope for small matches. near the end, i alternated tdm with skirmish.

so whats the count... (and correct me if im wrong), so far only inf and i have 10k's. i got it around 9,671 or something like that on my profile.

if you cant get into the clan, you can still play on cag nights. invite yourself into the room if its not locked or make sure to have someone on your friends' list that is in the clan playing that night to send you an invite/party invite.
 
It'd be nice to meet more CAG R2 people. I joined a few weeks ago and was shocked to see 95 people in the clan. It was surprising to see only 7-10 show up on Wednesdays.

It's kinda hard to get 10k kills now when Killzone 2 is out. I'm having problems deciding which one to play. Usually, Killzone 2 wins. ahhh so addicting!

I stopped at 6k, I'll get back to it when DLC hits

I'm active in R2 right now, so just send a friend request if you're looking for someone to play with. I'm currently making my way through all the co-op campaigns and then its on to the competitive mode. Of course, I'd be able to get through co-op mode if more people were "team" players. Freakin spec-ops refusing to spit out ammo pisses me off like no other. :bomb:
 
the fastest way to get through coop is to join games that are already in progress, preferably 8 people. you still get the intel for the level if you just joined for 10 seconds. there are only two really really hard levels.
