Resistance 2 CAG Clan/Night - Get yo ass on! - Friday Nights @ 7PM PST/10PM EST

Normally, we actually kind of start R2 at 8pm EST, and the party can go until past midnight at times (we just switch party leaders).
 
I should probably drop from the clan. I'm not playing Resistance 2 for the time being and at Resistance 2 night times, I have Grifball practice now. Pretty much since the Winter league has just about started.

If you want you can kick me from the clan or I can leave in the next couple of days. Of course I could just stay in with the possibility that I could come back, but it's your call all things considered.
 
Wow. Co-op takes way too damn long. I'm on the California level playing with 4 other people. It took us one whole hour to beat just one mission. I would have thrown my T.V. out the window if we would have lost at the last stretch. These missions are just way too long, and with no checkpoints.....Jesus.

I'll try and make it, but most likely not, so someone else will have to lead tonight, it'll most likely be either Darkness or ManaKnight, or maybe Synical.

I'll try and get the whole member list cleaned up and updated soon, right now we are at 39 members if I remember correctly.

I'm curious though, who is interested in joining a group for Competitive? We can add some co-op to balance it out, but I'm hoping we can get a couple to come together and form a group to focus more on Competitive, the magic number being five. I'm starting to get into it, and I've been running into five-man clan groups more often and it'd be cool to get a 5-man group of our own.

From what I've seen, I think Swavage and Synical might be interested. I also have a couple people on my friend list not on CAG who like to play Competitive, so they might join up too if interested.

I would be interested in a competitive squad but probably couldn't play until Friday night.

Cool, if more people are interested, I could bump the magic number up to 10 since that's the minumum allowed in a ranked competitive match.

If necessary, I could fix up the Game nights to include one on Friday Nights for some competitive gaming if none of you guys play Warhawk on Friday Night or don't mind, it actually sounds like a great night to play.

I need to check the list of heavy Warhawk players and see how many play R2 (I don't think there's many).

As for tonight, I'll be there starting at 8:30pm EST. If I do NOT see Darknyss online, I'll go ahead and create the party.
 
I'll be missing tonight, but Friday may work, not sure when I'll get home, but it may not be till after warhawk has started and I'll feel obliged to play that since cag warhawk nights are pretty much the only times I play the game.

If there is a saturday night game I'll be there (preferably starting a good bit before warhawk also)
 
Sorry I wasn't able to make it last night. Was out the whole day/night. I might be able to join in on Sat. not sure yet though might go to the bike show in long beach.

Hehe you know me shin I'm always up for competitive. I want my 10k trophy. But I don't mind playing coop either it's fun using the bellock gun.
 
Just bought this and have yet to even take the plastic off of it...but I'd definitely be up for some online play in the near future.

I can play Wednesdays until 10pm (GTA night!) but not on Saturdays. I'd be down for occasional Friday nights, as suggested above.

Anyway, that was fun last night and I enjoyed leading the party. However, I still feel stupid for not noticing there was an invite problem earlier.
 
Good game last night, Darknyss and I were the last two on. I would be interested in the competitive if you still need players. Just shoot me an invite if i am in something else.
 
I'd be down for straight up competitive night on Friday if enough people want it, I'm around 3.5k and wanna rack em' up quick. It's the only trophy I need O_O
 
Count me in for a Friday night competitive session as well. I've been more into CO-OP, though, but playing with people who actually care about coordination may make the experience a lot more enjoyable. Ha!
 
I will make friday night comp. I might be a little rusty though because I have been running people over in GTA 4 all week and I finally finished MGS4.:drool:
 
We can play a custom comp. game just for warm ups if need be, then we can just jump into the ranked games.

Is there any preference for a game type? I wonder if we could do a ranked DM game with all us in it, that'd be awesome :p, but I prefer TDM all the way, maybe some Core Control/Skirmish to change it up despite their flaws.

A co-worker is going back to Korea so we're all going to a company dinner for his send-off.

im baffled as to how im supposed to join clan games.
i played some fun games with some randoms. this game is EXCELLENT online.
 
Was able to get one co-op mission in with Inf_Shini tonight...good times, indeed.

I didn't care for the first Resistance at all, but I'm really enjoying the sequel. I'm glad I picked it up.

Sorry I could not make it. I was playing Gears of War 2 with a great group of strangers: we eventually formed a Party and exchanged Friends requests. I ended up playing Horde until 2:30 am.
 
Well all my characters got reset to level 1. The damn game froze on me last night and when I turned off my PS3 it corrupted my save file.

Who knows when IG will get off their asses and actually fix something. I'm giving them a week and if it's not fixed, I'm done with R2 and Insomniac all together.
 
Damn, that sucks dude. I've heard about corrupt save files happening for some people so I've always been backing up my file to a SD Card. I'd be real pissed if my file ended up corrupt, I've maxed out all the classes, my rank, and have around 4.6k kills now.

I'd probably give up if that happened, so much time invested gone *poof*

Did some research and it doesn't look to hopeful right now. There seemed to be the same issue with Resistance 1 for some people with the 60GB version.

Let this all be a lesson to us and back-up our saves onto flash drives or SD cards in the event that such a thing should happen.

I was about to say, that is the same thing that happened to me with R:FoM way back when.
