Resistance- NEW CAG Clan Sign-Ups

If you can't take over the clan or whatever, we could always just start a new one, right? Also, I haven't bothered checking, so I'll just ask here - are there leagues in this game like CAL? That would be awesome if we could get enough active people people here to play in a league while some of us are still off from school.
 
I'm interested too. phoenix_arnoud. I've been brushing up on my skills using the campaign mode so I'm at least a little comfortable with the controls and weapons. I still can't aim quickly with my controller so it's all a moot point anyway. :lol:
 
Sorry guys, I've been waiting on gamefly to get the game but the game is in high demand. So I'm not sure when the game will get to me. d'oh!

I think the only problem with starting a new clan is that only one clan at a time can have the C.A.G. letters.

Sorry, i really didn't think getting rid of the game was going to be a problem because seriously it's been months since anyone registered any interest in the clan.

Haha, well I think there was no interest because this thread died off, then I revived it :D

I can't send clan invites, so I do need leadership status :/

Alright guys, I just got in Resistance. The original clan has now been disbanded and Inf_Shini will start the new clan and take care of invites.

Me (EternalVendetta). I think it'd be great if we could establish one time each week to try to play together. Here's one random time: Wednesdays 11 PM EST.

EDIT: And thanks a lot shaun for getting the game just to pass clan ownership. That was a very cool thing to do.
 
I'll give it a go. Hopefully everyone has mics. That is the main reason I stopped playing, is that so few people had mics, or atleast good mics.

I've had a PS3 and Resistance basically since launch, but I've never been online. I refused to sign on as a mute (spoiled by XBL). I recently got a bluetooth headset, so please send me an invite to the clan. Here's hoping everyone has mics.

I don't turn on the system too often, so I'll be looking here for gaming schedules.
 
The one thing this game needs is an auto-retry button to keep trying to join a game that's full. Otherwise, this is probably the best console FPS I've ever played except for perhaps Goldeneye (for nostalgic reasons).
 
gg shini and orion, although that game was probably the most stacked game I've played in yet. At least 85% of my deaths were from random grenades too... made me mad. =/
 
yeah, definitely gg...
that game wasn't as bad when I first got into it, there was like a 5 kill difference between winner and loser, but starting with the second round things just got more and more lopsided...
 
I jsut got my copy from amazon yesterday. Still a rookie though didnt get a chance to play it much. But so far im pretty impressed. Just got my 6.99 BT headset from buy.com yesteday as well.

HAHA i wouldve but all my game handles switched to Vinomen to have a more fatasy name type that i used for FFXI and WoW. so it stuck. The Layd Dly is from my Mini Truck :bouncy:.

and my internet is down at hoem due to the fuckin lawn company slicing up my cord with the lawn mower. :bomb:
 
I'd like to join the clan as well. I couldn't quite figure out how to do a game specific friend invite, but my player name is "fosaisu" (without the quotes).
 
I would like to join, too. My PSN is cuta1 so when I finally play online I can join up with you guys. I just got this game today because of the online play only thing is I don't have a mic yet.
 
I would join, but be aware that I'm pretty bad at it. At least in comparison to who I've played so far... I need like a training course or somethin'.

Hey you guys, been buzy with college recently.

So Thomaticus, some of the CAG clan meet up on Wed/Thurs nights? Gah, for now I won't be on-line much, I'll probably have Sat/Sun as my only free days for the next 3-4 weeks.

It looks like the clan growing slowly :p, I think we have about 11-13 members and 2 pending invites.
