Revolution Conspiracy Theroies... THE PLOT THICKENS

lol......its true what some of the rumors say...Dont you find it weird that neither IGN or Gamespot have put up their Revolution sections?...Coincidence....I think not
has anyone else seen these supposed controls
http://www.blogadictos.com/upload/revo28vf.jpg
Actually, that looks kinda like an idea my friend and I had. When we heard the gyro controll rumors, we thought it would be cool to essentially have 2 gloves or parts of controller, like pictured, that would have buttons and such, but could then be twisted around as well to controll things. I actually like those pictures, even though their prolly fake.

I was accually thinking more of a conventional controller thats split into 2 but are connected by a ball so they can move independant from each other but still feel like a normal joystick

this is weird....whenever I clicked on that Nintendoon.com link...it goes straight to the ign page of the revolution mock up....after that I even typed it in and it came out with the same results.

2 power gloves that worked would be bad ass!

I think the reason IGN and GameSpot have not put up a section for the new Nintendo system is because it doesn't have an official name yet.

Everything else is interesting, though.

1During the conference Reggie constantly was telling us to use our right brains...In the ON video the right part of the brain is to make games. So maybe we can make the games ours in some way...Im not necessarilly saying we can make our own games but...hey who knows
2.Before introducing electroplankton, Reggie tells us to go way into our right brains....Electroplankton is a game in which you MAKE your own music.
3.Iwata talks about how development for the revolution wiil be geared more towards big ideas than big budgets, Maybe we will be able to make our own games and burn them on a dvd (In 30 seconds as pointed out by the video)

It's like he said its not what your playin its how you play it.

I was following this conspiracy throughout Wednesday, but neglected to post until someone else brought it up. But it seems like Nintendo has created the most successful viral marketing yet. Not only did everyone know about it, but everyone followed the different aspects, and quickly wrote them off. Here's a brief list of a few things I saw yesterday (some of which pumbaa already posted in the OP):

http://www.cube-europe.com/news.php?nid=7818

http://img290.echo.cx/img290/5148/bscap0009zr.jpg
(look at the date - this was the Pre-E3 conference on the 17th)

http://mozlapunk.web-log.nl/log/2574674

http://www.nintendoon.com/
(Yes, it goes back to IGN)

Those are just the places I found again quickly. There are a lot of things.

Oh, and don't forget to check out:

http://rs.ign.com/

tomorrow after whatever happens. Go ahead. Ping it. Something is there. Remember, Nintendo is partnered with IGN/GameSpy. Maybe that is why they haven't made a RevOlution site. They already are part of the conspiracy.

I think that Aries is Reggie. He has been taking names...

Oh, in addition to all of the recent patents that sound like Revolution rumors, Nintendo apparently filed five patents on Tuesday that I read today. Too lazy to find them right now though.

I don't think Reggie is done with us yet. Like he... I mean Aries said, Trojan horse... don't be disappointed on the first day... wait until the 19th...

(Watch the video again, don't you now find it odd how extremely cryptic Iwata was and how he had a mischievous smirk anytime the audience thought he was going to give something up, yet he stopped short? Maybe it's just me...)

something smells fishy...
oh, sorry about that...

anyways.

Wow. Here's something new I just saw on another forum:

#1 First off, its strange how the registrant of the site is
some guy named *removed*. Someone mentioned that *removed*
stands for "prophecy" but im not too sure if this can be a clue
or not or what.

#2 Iwata mentioned "Smash Bros." and it being "Online" during the
E3 confrence. Type this in your web browser

http://www.supersmashbros3.com

It will re-direct to http://www.smashbrothersonline.com

Now type this in your browser

http://www.nintendoon.com

It will re-direct to the IGN website.

Why are both links re-directing?

#3 The website is using the same exact music as from the
Revolution Mock Up Video if you download the Opening Theme. I doubt
that the guy who is running this site ripped it from the video
since the dates of the Revolution Mock Up Video and the
website's update on the MP3 are exactly the same. Also I have
heard from a couple people that both the video and MP3 was
released on the internet at the exact same time.

#4 Notice how the first paragraph of the 2nd page of the website,
the author is talking about Nintendo at E3. Notice how he says
"my eyes are hurting" out of the blue. Does this have anything
to do with the Mario Eyes on IGN and the Reggie Eyes on the
nintendo.com website? Also, Reggie said something about checking
the Nsider forums, notice how Link's eyes are at the top.

#5 At the bottom of the 2nd page of the website, there is a small
jigsaw puzzle piece. Diddnt Iwata mention something about
"puzzle pieces" during the confrence?"

#6 Look at the video of the Nintendo E3 confrence. Notice in
the background on the huge screen, they constantly show a picture
of Link pulling a chain of the people's names. Now check out
the "Congratulations Images!" in the Super Smash Bros. 3 website.
That same picture of Link pulling the chain can be found on a
picture of like 10 diferent Links and there is one pulling the
chain.

#7 Now look at the Pokemon page. Now look at Jirachi, he is
the ONLY one that is colored orange. I still cant figure this
one out and neither can my friend. If anyone finds out, please
e-mail me at *removed*

It diddnt take long to find out all these clues. I searched around
and had more people search the site with me, and this is what we came
up with.

and

heres some more speculation thats going to happen supposedly

I know a lot of you have been waiting for my third and final installment of the "=Next Gen=" articles, and I have decided that now is when the time is the ripest.

Instead of going on and on for pages and pages, I will give you a quick summary of things here, and then direct you to my website where you can browse all sorts of speculations and information. I will be updating the website as I get more articles written.

In quick summation:
Aries is real. I'm guessing he's Yamaguchi (or at least a translator for Yamaguchi).
"Nintendo On" is real.
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect will blow Xbox Live out of the water.
Zelda: The Twilight Princess will launch late October/Early November, 2005.
The home console (N5) revealed at E3 will launch late 2005 and will be under $200.
The N5 is only a more advanced Game Cube with awesome on-line play.
The "Revolution" is a DVD Burner + HVD Player + VR simulator and will launch 2006.
The "Revolution" will connect to both the GCN + the N5.
Mario 128 will be for the GCN & the N5 and use the Revolution's features.
The Revolution's controller will come in two parts and will work with the Environmental Capture Eye on the "Revolution".
The footage of Metroid Prime 3 shown at the E3 was stereoscopic

Before you rule out the SSB3 website, remember - pretty much everything in this supposed viral campaign is "fan made hype."

EDIT - I especially like the idea about the "current Revolution" just being a cheap, superpowered GCN that will launch this year. It is not unlike Nintendo to just update old hardware...

You know what Nintendo. I believe.

EDIT: Upon further reflection of the video... Nintndo On couldnt be real. It's... crazy. We shall see... we shall see...

Here is my theory:

We are currently EXPERIENCING the Nintendo Revolution DEMO. This isn't just marketing, this was Nintendo's way to break the boundaries and show you first hand what a shift in paradigm really means.

Think about it, we are playing a game right now. Iwata and Reggie are playing a "puzzle game" with us. The console does not exist, the interface is not a controller.

The medium is video, websites, forums, news leaks, speculations. The platform is ourselves - or rather, our brains. This is beyond a game isn't it? This is a growing living entity that resides in each of us, that we are experiencing as part of our real lives and is unique for all of us. The deeper we dig, the more we learn and the bigger the game becomes. We help create this game, Moz has played a large role in all our games.

Massively multiplayer, seamlessly linking Internet to console and portable gaming. Imagine the possibilities - isn't this what Square Enix described as "a whole new platform"? The traditional internet multiplayer death matches and versus modes suddenly seem so limited.

This gaming arena is no longer our TV, its has become part of our world.

If true - it would be truly mind boggling stuff

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world...

I need to be asleep. I think I'll stop reading and theorizing and just go to bed... and lay there... thinking of the posibilities... it is just too perfect to not be true...

We shall see...

Right on. I need to go to bed too.

I don't know folks... that SSBM3 forum seems like a real forum. Whats odd is that it hasnt been posted on in a while... especially with all this Rev. info soming in... you'd expect more activity on the forum. I just dont freaking know.
Hmm... read this:
http://www.gamebunker.com/install/index.php?do=viewarticle&id=10

Truth? Or just wanting some ATTN?
Attention. Those are the two easiest "debunked" coincidences. Yes, anyone could have said SSB Online at launch, but then there is all the other stuff. And he discredits the Square announcement because "only" a FF:CC online game has been announced. What does he want? Thirty games announced? That's probably the first third party game officially announced! Besides, look at SquareEnix's President's comments about the Revolution. It is more than obvious that this is where Square sees videogames heading in the future - where Nintendo is taking us...

I really need to go to bed now...

grrrr... I can't stop!

MorPhiend.. I feel you. Its good to have another level headed (well... most of the time anyways) Nintendo fan around CAG. We've gotta represent somehow.

I honest to god think some people here, like Morphiend, have smoked themselves retarded. You guys care way too much about this.

So, do you think it's gonna go down this morning? I'm not positive, but like I said about Iwata, watching that video again and seeing his smug little smirk just makes me want to punch him in the face. It was just too little on Tuesday and he knew he was making people upset. I think they just may unleash something on us here.

If not, oh well. It's been fun following this stuff. I'm still going to get a Revolution.

Smoked? Never. Retarded? Possibly... :dunce:

Yeah I definatly think the On video was put out by Nintendo. Its probably not real but the amount of detail in the video would take many skilled people to create. It looks too proffessional. I mean, of course if a bunch of art students, completely obsessed with nintendo, *could* have made it. But I think it was made by Nintendo to start getting people interested in the Revolution.

I think the creator of the Nintendo ON video was found out and it was some guy from Spain who created the video to show the kind of gaming system he thinks would be good. Supposedly it is a kind of "protest video" that he did to state how he was unhappy with gaming today.

He has supposedly made some other videos that are really high quality as well.

BTW, the Nintendo HD-DVD media picture was shown to be a fake as was the pic of Miyamoto with the "helmet" on.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. The stuff that Aries said has been true so far so we'll see if he just made a bunch of educated guesses or if Nintendo really does have something more coming.

Whoever just posted that pic of Nintendodogs. and teh date reading 5/19/05

I found some more info out. I cant find the link cause I have looked at so much but supposedly there is emails going out for EA employees to attend a Nintendo conference at 10am today.

If you look at the Nintendodogs picture it says 5/19/ time is 10:10....... Coincidence?

Heres a link to the pic.

If this were the case I'd never play a Nintendo game again. There's simply not enough time in my life to get involved. I like playing games for a few hours a week in the comfort of my living room in front of the TV...

I think this fellow is looking into it way too much.

whether or not this is a big "game" or conspiracy, it's been fun reading all the stuff, and watching how excited people are (myself included)

the connections people have been drawing have been great (some really far fetched and some eerily plausible) and you have to admit that it's piqued many people's curiosity.

it's been fun for me, so i'll leave it at that.

all this stuff kinda reminds me of oldschool adventure games (argh, a genre that I truly wish would come back to be as strong as it used to be)

well to this I would offer that we are not let down if we consider this an exercise in challenging what a game is.

i don't really care if the xbox360, ps3 or even revolution have dual core 9.10ghz death processors, if they produce more halos, devil may cries, and the lot, it's the same old shit.

at least in this past 24 hrs, i've been actively engaged in a conversation hoping to solve a puzzle. really think about it, if this is a big orchestrated marketing job, it's amazing.

Maybe I don't spend enough time on the internet, but i've never seen information travel this fast, and coagulate so cohesively. Is no one else impressed by the speed of this communication? For christ sake, the dude Moz is from Holland!

If Nintendo shows nothing, I still walk a way with a crystal clear view of how much potential integration and communication exists on the internet. All the information (true or false) that has been gathered by the collective peoples is more than any small group could possibly hope to piece together.

that's alot more interesting to me than Halo 3, which is about a guy with guns, who shoots aliens.
