Rewarding Achievements - Confirmed!

Was finally able to accept challenge, after I left my computer in frustration for a while, came back, and the page was magically up. I guess I must have clicked on the page before I left, and it just took a really long time to load.

Ok. Here's what you have to do:

Go to www.Live.com and log out.

Then go back to the Rewards page and click "Sign In". When it takes you to the sign in screen, click the button on the left. I forgot what it said, but I think it was "Register".

That should do it.

Logging out on Live.com is the key.

Thanks. Finally got it to work. Hooray for gamerpics.

No problem.

It's safe to say that the problem wasn't traffic.

It was bad programming.

Well I'm not signed in to live.com so I can't really sign out. . . Still no loading :/

Even with a sign in to live.com, it won't sign me out of the Rewards registration page...sucks

hahahaha... thanks a lot

It's load related. I tried your steps and that didn't work. The page is still clocking.... what a POS.

This is a good example on how to NOT run a website. DO NOT use MS as your webserver! Go Linux....

I won the level 3 package, complete with FF2. Yea!

First time I've ever picked up a game for the quick 1000. Unless you count Kong, but I played that way back when there was a drought of games.

Just wanted to let everyone know a CAGer managed to win one.

... you already got the 1,500? And they notify you that quick?

Sweetness, that worked perfectly. Thanks!

Wow..I just got signed up and someone posts they already won....that's insane.

Thanks Brak, This worked for me and I'm spreading the news.
Is there a way to check how many prizes are still available?
go to challenges and rewards and when you click awards it shows the percent available.

Thanks! Finally got in :D

I registered (Thanks to Brak), but I still can't sign up for the actual challenge. I can't believe someone on our board already won when I can't even sign up still. Grats man.

I'm registered, too, but I'm not sure if I'm signed up for the challenge or not. I can no longer click the "Join Challenge" option, so I assume I'm in, but I'd rather not start getting points without verifying. Any way to do so?

I still got nothing. Tried Brak's method on Firefox 2 and IE and nada!

EDIT: Sigh...NVM...Im so dumb. I missed the big green "REGISTER" button on the bottom left of the Sign In screen. Thanks Brak

EDIT2: So after you register, do you have to click on the JOIN CHALLENGE button? If so, I click on it and its fucking slow... Doesn't seem to work at the moment.

EDIT3: Yes you do...I did and I'm in.

I finally got it to work with Firefox. Safari was a no go.

This was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to sign up for.

Won about 2 hours ago. Level 3!!!

They did a piss poor job explaining everything.

You have to register for the rewards site first, then join the old spice challenge. Once your old spice challenge page has the "join now" option not selectable but the "i'm finished" option selectable-- you are ready to start earning your 1500 points. When you are done, hit finish and you should be greeted with the CONGRATS you won screen.

Now the long wait for my copy of FF2.

The Old Spice Experience Challenge

Total participants: 1772

As of right this second....needless to say, there are still prizes to be had out there. Considering they are giving away 2,500 copies of FF2, not even 2,500 people have even SIGNED UP yet, let alone completed the 1500 pt task!

Hurry guys, you still can make it!
I clicked on I'm finished but it just says I still have 1,500 more points to earn.
It takes a while for xbox.com to update how many points you've achieved at your present state. Give it 30min-1hr or so.

::Edit::
It seems like the website is moving pretty smoothly right now (for its standards). So if you haven't signed up yet, now is the time to do it!

Stayed up all night, and got the 1500 points, now I'm waiting for MS to reflect the last 130 points I earned (go Ms. Pac-Man to finish me off in points...). My gamercard shows it, but on my xbox.com profile page, on the upper right corner, it doesn't show those points yet, and when I try to finish the challenge, it says I still need 105 more points. Hopefully that will go through soon, as my connection to Xbox Live on campus this semester has been absolutely terrible.

Edit: Ha, fieldkillah, see I wasn't the only one to use Ms. Pac-Man to get the last of the points, lol.

I still can't even sign in and I haven't gotten a confirmation email or anything. I'm thinking that maybe my registration didn't actually go through earlier like I thought.

Now there's already people completing it, this has gotta be one of the shittiest "contests" I've ever participated in.
