Rewarding Achievements - Confirmed!

i did cars, enough to get 200, took 1 1/2 hours. I got like 600 off madden 06, 700 nhl 2k6, in like 2 hours for these last two. i spent most my time working on the last 400 on madden. i might save that for next time or something.
 
I've only got 300 so far... but my backlog is astoundingly large. I'm going to try to get the rest tonight, after work.

I guess I must have managed to sign up last night. I can't select "Join Challenge". Only "I'm finished" is live for me.
 
Well it seems the prizes are still there, I just finished my 1500+ point run and was able to somehow log back into the site and click "I'm Finished". A little Congrats box popped up and a link to your prizes, where it listed all the goods (shirt, game, etc). I'm stoked...

I did notice that the mygamercard.net did not update my score at all when I was getting points, but immediately when I finished the challenge it updated me to rank #1.

This link ACTUALLY works. It takes a while to load, but you don't get any errors or "time outs." Make sure you open the link with Internet Explorer, because for some reason Firefox wouldn't open it for me.
 
i used firefox, personally to do it. but it did take me a bit but it actually loaded, i'm glad it worked for someone.
man, i got jipped the t-shirt. damn tier 2 bullshit.

Thank you! I finally got registered. Now to try and earn 1500pts before the prizes are gone.

How can u click finished? I can't even view logon and view anything on the rewards website. I got signed up via the work around but that's it.

Well according to gamercard.net only 132 people have finished so far. So it may take longer than you think for 70,000 people to finish. I expect the first 5,000 to be done in a day or two but I bet a few weeks may actually pass before all the prizes are gone.
 
well looks like I won everything for level 3. The my rewards section says I won 5 rewards, and there's a button to confirm my address for the Tshirt and fuzion frenzy 2.

*edit* I think the MGC thing is glitchy, it says i need more points even though I won, and when I compared with some of the people around me on the list at the rewards site it said they weren't registered, or they weren't participating.
 
It's really frustrating to have been completed with this contest for like the last 16 hours or so, but to not be able to confirm my address in order to receive the prizes....

It's even more frustrating to be completely unable to sign up this far into the start. Even more so to see people finishing already when you'd planned to play at a reasonable pace and assumed you'd still be able to get a fucking XBLA game without them being gone in two days.
 
How in the world are all of you getting 1500 points in 6 hours???

I have had my 360 for close to a year and I only have 1345 points :cry:

Then again, I only play 6 hours a week...

I finally just now managed to sign up for the rewards site after 2+ days of trying. :bomb: Now to sign up for the Old Spice Challenge. Which I can't get to at all..... :bs:
 
Ah, now I see the confirm address button, after waiting a while for the page to load. I had seen my rewards through the generic link where anybody could see my rewards, not the "My Rewards" section. Thanks.

Edit: As you may have noticed, the site is experiencing some issues right now. The marketing team is working on fixing them. In the mean time, if you are able to register…you then have to join the challenge. So really it’s a two step process…assuming you can actually get into the site. Once I get an update, I’ll report back.

So it sounds like there's gonna be an increase in the amount of prizes. If that ends up happening I'll be pretty fucking impressed to say the least.
 
Ok this is really hard to understand. There are links to the left and to the right. A ton of OMG IT WORKED and OMG IT DOESN"T WORK replys are not helping. It would be nice if a mod updated the OP.

Here is the bad luck I've had.

enter my info and click submit. That send me to another page that says "Registration Successful. Thank you for participating! "

And it has a link that says "Return to My Xbox Rewards". Well I click that link then get sent back to the info fill in page.

Used NBA Live 06 and History Channel: Civil War for my 1500 points yesterday, stayed up until 6 AM working on Civil War for the last 600 or so points to get to 1500. Probably would have been done sooner if the site wasn't so slow on loading and updating my gamerscore. Just happy that I got it done and should be getting a copy of FF2!
 
How are you guys getting ahold of the older sports games? I checked out Hollywood Video tonight and they only had the newer stuff.

Yeah, I think it's only for tier 3, there's a confirm address link next to the T-Shirt and Fuzion Frenzy 2 rewards for me.

I'm not sure. I couldn't get it to work on my computer using any method or any browser. It really only worked on my Wii. However, that link you have to search for yourself actually takes me to the registration page with all my info filled in.... I'm not sure what that link is supposed to do.

Blockbuster had a few of the older games.

Blockbuster seems to keep 360 games longer on the rental shelf.

Alternately, you can just buy a couple older easy achievement games from Gamestop, then just return them within the 7 day limit.
 
Have any level 3 winners got the "confirm" icon to go away in their rewards section? I've clicked it and it brings up the registration page, and after I click submit it's still there.
 
you can still get around the rest of the site if you have a direct link to the other parts, but the join challenge thing doesnt work for me. You guys might still be able to register though.

This whole thing is a fiasco lol. Oh well I plan on getting the bulk of my pts with nba street anyway
 
I found that if I changed each page's URL to https instead of http, before loading each next link, then I was able to load the page. That meant the confirmation iframe thing that pops up fills the whole window instead, but it still works.

Pretty damn ridiculous that you would have to do that, but I hope it will help someone.
 
Oh I almost forgot to add: you should get an achievement just for successfully signing up for this thing!
