The guy already had a concusssion and shouldn't have been in the ring from what I understand.

Correct, and apparently the trainer was a real hardass and wouldn't let him stop training. He then took a move, a backdrop I think, and grabbed onto Singh's shirt. The guy landed on his head instead of his back and got knocked out. The trainer thought he was faking, and decided to wait around 30 minutes to call for EMTs, and by the time they got to the gym he was dead.
