I have the feeling the diva doing Playboy will be Ashley.

Technically, she is new... plus doing Playboy is part of the Diva Search contract.

I know that. Christy did some nude work as well, but that didn't stop WWE from putting her in Playboy. Plus, they won't acknowledge that she was in it under a different name.

Actually, she did have some interviews and nude segments in one of those late-night infomercial "Girls Gone Wild" type videos.

Probably wont be Stacy or Trish since they said multiple times that they would never pose nude. My bet is either Lita or Melina.

I think Smell meant that he would be happy if the diva in Playboy was either Trish, Maria, Melina, or Stacy. He doesn't want to see someone naked that has already been naked.

I was just thinking, the diva could be Victoria. She has always said that she wanted to do Playboy, but they never asked.

I'm nursing a hangover today, so I can't be that smarmy.

Anyway, one thing TNA has no emphasized recently is the cheesecake aspect of the show. That's fine with me, because, while an attractive woman is a wonderful thing, you can see unattainable women damn near anywhere (magazines, the internet, any other show). So, do what you will with the divas; I'm (reluctant to admit) being in the minority who doesn't care for them. They do bring in ratings, and I would never argue that their magazines and videos don't sell.

TNA never had much to offer; when in Tennessee they seemed intent on using the most bottom of the barrel, $5.15/hr Tennessee white trash (and before you get mad Scorch, I live in KY, so I do know what I'm talking about) to dance in those cages. I'm glad they're gone, and back to working at the Brass Ass Lounge.

They do (did?) have some women,but, well...

Goldilocks? She looks a heartbeat away from 40 and appears to be on a constant diet of sleeping pills, Kamkatchka Vodka (that's the $4 a fifth variety), and being punched in the face.

Trinity? Not a wrestler, no matter how many times they may try to tell us otherwise. Also, looks like Kerry Von Erich.

Tracy Brooks? Same as Goldilocks, but also addicted to ham and cheese sammiches.

So, they have no real reason to focus on the women, and although it may be merely circumstantial, for that I thank them.

On the TNA site, on their "knockouts" page, they still only have Traci. That's pretty sad. Especially since she isn't the most photogenic girl out there. Still attractive, but a bit manly in the facial features.

Some breaking news:

There were be no SmackDown! next Friday. UPN will instead be airing a benefit concert for the hurricane victims. SmackDown! is likely to be rescheduled and aired at a different date. Otherwise, SmackDown! would have to be a 1 hour show to fit the Friday night schedule.

Has anyone played EWR yet? Are you going to make things like they are in the federations now, or are you going to create a dream fed? Also, what fed are you going to take over and what's your roster?
 
I played EWR lots like a couple years ago. Took a couple backyard feds to the promised land. And as always, bury HHH and Big Sexy to -1000 over.

I also used to post at the Battleground, but those kids make the posters here look like mature geniuses.

Breaking news:

The debut episode of Friday Night SmackDown! will be only one hour long. How the hell are they going to do all those matches they had planned? A steel cage, and a bullrope match... one's gotta go.
 
Okay, to shock everyone... I actually downloaded this week's RAW after reading some decent reviews on PWTorch. :shock:

My thoughts so far (as I just got done with the Angle/Cena segment).

- The Carlito ripoff of Y2J Highlight Reel (whatever his version is) was okay and a decent way to build up the main event. I'm telling ya tho that Carlito could have a future in a sitcom type of comedy show. Too bad the main event got changed to the tag match, but hell I think another week of waiting for what will be a pretty lame "Masterlock" match won't kill anyone.

- The divas segment and Ashley vs Victora was lame lame lame.

- Nice angle involving Flair getting bloodied backstage. I have a feeling he'll end up running in on the main event anyways.

- Matt Hardy vs Edge was pretty decent but nowhere near match of the year as some folks around here claim it is. I liked the ending giving credit where its due.

- Why oh why does Cena need to sound like a damn wigger and while at it... what's up with the gay jokes? Still its nice to see WWE giving some build up towards Angle vs Cena. Would of been nice for Ross to have at least mentioned at some point that Cena's first match was against Angle several years ago or hell... Cena could of used that himself and said something to the effect of "I was the student but now look who the master is now."

I did love Angle's "I got more wrestling ability in my pinky finger than you got in your whole body" line. Because that's pretty damn true to be honest.

- I must agree with what others wrote having Hurricane on the show along with Lawler's line about "haven't we had enough Hurricanes" was very inappropriate. The match was pretty pathetic anyways.

Not to mention... god do we need another roided monster in the WWE?

- I'll eat my words.. its a handicap match.... HBK vs Carlito and Masters.

I'll post more later.
