That happen to me too and I lost the Kyo Kara Maoh! DVD 4 + artbox. I really wanted the book style dvd box.

Also I think I will put it off in till later in the week or when Ippo 14 goes on the list to make another order ..... Unless I breakdown and spend all of the money I have for the Convention that is coming soon.
 
Man, if you guys pass up R.O.D The TV and Fighting Spirit at this price, you're a complete fool. By *far*, these are the best two shows of the sale. Heck, R.O.D is among my top five of all time!

ROD has Over 900+ for each so I'm waiting. Fighting Spirit maybe the best Sport anime I have ever watched. Just mad that Ippo 14 seems to "No Longer Available For Purchase". I'm hoping it comes back and order that and ROD TV.

Ugh so many choices, I was still planing to place another 100 dollar order on top of my 300 spent at DDD, now this comes along and I already placed one order here. I was hoping to make some extra money this summer before going back to school to save. Looks like I'll also wait till November for TNG (was pondering whether or not to buy right now anyways) hope it doesn't go out of print by then.

Actually, Fighting Spirit is what I am planning to get on my next order. I am going to wait and get the Special Collection for ROD since I like boxes and soundtracks.
 
Personally, I didn't care for the Read or Die TV series. It took the rocking-ness of the OVA series and turned the volume down to six or seven by adding in too many characters I didn't care about. Not enough Dah Papah! Ippo is awesome beyond belief though. 14 (15) DVDs is a lot of slots to take up though.

Yeah, I'm getting into watching movies on it, and I figured this was a cheap way to get introduced to different anime titles. That and they're rather resellable if I should be so inclined.

It probably sold out. When I went through the list on RS's website about 30 minutes ago the only one they had left was the 1st volume, and even that was in very short supply.

I missed Paranoia Agent and some of the Lupin the last time around so I'm happy. Now I have to try to stop myself from placing another order. This sale is pure evil. :lol:

But you only get 2 episodes per UMD. Plus, your screen on the PSP is smaller than my tv. DVDs are worth more on ebay. And you have to charge your batteries on the PSP.

He probably meant Mahoromatic. Maburaho was on the ADV sale last time. They did have the Maburaho volumes cheap even without the huge sale though.
 
man my cart emptying in the middle made me rush too much in ordering. Probably will need a 2nd order. I hope they add a few more things on as the week goes, would have to rebuy someday's dreamers if they had the box

Ahh yeah i meant mahoromatic. I spaced because my DDD order arrived today with the Maburaho boxset.

I called customer service and they said it was NOT the one with the tin.

It has the same features as my Black Tin one does so at least the discs are the same or close to it.

That tin was a limited edition. They only made a small amount of them years ago. The discs are the same.
 
I have the Akira tin, but if I'm not mistaken they released another non-tin version a year or two after it that had a DTS soundtrack added. I remember because it annoyed me that the cooler looking version was the lesser version.
 
This would be an easy way to snag most of the Lupin the Third second series DVDs for anyone interested in them - I doubt you'll find a better price unless Geneon puts them in a box set.

Pretty much. The case is actually a lot sturdier then the metal case which is essentially two disc trays glued to the interior of the case. The content is the same.

oh well..i guess that's still a good deal..and it comes with all the features the tin version comes with (excluding the tin feature...OBVIOUSLY)

after this sale and the DD 20% off sale...ain't NOTHING gonna get me down :whistle2:D
