I liked Hakkenden a lot but the art style changes for the worse half way through and it kinda falls apart.

I was about to say the same. It's easy to find without a link to it here.

The only that sucks is that I bought My-HiME volumes and two IGPX voulmes Sunday. If I had waited until today I could have saved $14 on those.
 
X the TV Series 1-8 for $42 shipped. $5.25 a DVD is more than fair to me. While I could've added another 18 dollars of product to get free shipping, I didn't want to spend another $8.

Yeah, I have only watched first two DVD volumes so far. I bought all of the from Rightstuf a while back. Ippo is like Little Mac, Rocky, and Popeye rolled into one! :lol:
 
why under "format" do some of the dvds say hybrid??

and these "hybrid" dvds aren't bootleg or different from their normal dvd counterparts correct?

Hybrid means that they contain both English dub and Japanese with subtitles. They aren't bootlegs.

Add me to the list of those who bought Hajime no Ippo (Fighting Spirit). I've been reading the manga for at least 6 years and I highly enjoyed the anime when I watched it. Also bought most of FMA and GetBackers. Only gripe I have is that for the Rurouni Kenshin OVA, they only had Trust and not Betrayal. Selling those 2 disks in anticipation of the "director's cut" was one of the dumbest decisions I have ever made. Thanks OP!

Finished off my Heat Guy J set, and got the full Strawberry Eggs and My-Hime sets (going to get My-Hime volume 1 on Amazon since it was OOS here). I really want to complete my ROD The TV set, buy at $11 each I'll wait until they go cheaper. I also really wanted Best Student Council but they only had the 1st and 2nd DVDs so I decided to pass.

Edit: They got My-Hime 1 with the art box and t-shirt back in stock, so I grabbed one. Extra $3 shipping, but it's worth it for the shirt, I'd say. Just emailed to cancel my Amazon order, so hopefully that works out.

As much as I'd like to go nuts on this, I've been getting less hours at work lately (why I'm working less for the holiday season is beyond me), so I have to pass for now since there's no standout titles for me. Might pick up some things next week when I get paid, though...
