Usually they end after BF/CM, but in actuallity, and most of the time, they end somewhere after the holidays right after the 12 Days of December deals where they extend the "Wave" sales to include the "12 Days" sales.

I'm very likely going to get Part 4 of Gundam Unicorn from Day 1 since it's the final release and I have the previous parts, and while I'm also interested in Nadesico and Twelve Kingdoms, I'm not as sure about them. :whistle2:k

Is Gundam UC worth getting the DVDs for the price on this holiday bundle? I've never seen the series, but having missed out on the blu rays awhile back I feel like I'd just be settling for the DVDs now. I have a hard time paying $8/episode for something that I already have some regrets about.

I can't really help you there, as I've only been buying the DVDs and haven't even started watching them yet, primarily because I was waiting for all 4 parts to be released first.

Also, note that Part 4 has just the one episode, #7.

 
Anyone think Queen's Blade OVA: Beautiful Warriors will be cheaper eventually? I'm thinking it wont since I haven't even seen S1 or S2 on sale for a decent price anymore.

S1 and 2 were licensed to Mediablasters, who rarely even do blus, so the prices on those have more or less been stuck like that because of it.

Just an fyi though, the price on the OVA set only contains 6 episodes, and the regular price for almost everywhere else is around the $25 mark (current price on Amazon), so $20 is still cheaper, but there are reasons for it.

They're 7 episodes about an hour long each. High production value(it looks really good). If you're a Gundam(especially Universal Century) fan, then it's worth your time. If you've never seen Gundam before, there are better places to start but it's still alright. I cannot say for certain that you'll get $58 out of it.

Layton movie is great if you like the games.

Girls und Panzer is at a nice price. I bought it last year for $35~. Maybe I should've waited but it's a great series all the same. Do note that they edited the Katyusha song due to copyright issues. So that's a bummer. If you're blind buying a series, you cannot go wrong with GuP.

Vividred is far too expensive. The bonuses don't even look that good.

Huh. I guess I didn't have to freak out so much. And I even spoke to a rightstuf rep about them restocking. Bet they're just messing with me. My order could've waited, but oh well.

 
Heaven knows I appreciate the hell out of all the hard work going into keeping this thread updated with the latest news but I have one request:

Is there any chance you can make the first post with orange links instead of blue? heh heh I am having trouble readin' it!

I haven't purchased any amine since last year's sale but my wishlist is fat and I've got a decent budget. I'm still biding my time for some stuff I want and I'm taking a chance on waiting and hoping some of the others I would like to buy do not go out of stock in the meantime!

Did you miss out on Funi's Cyber Monday sale? Many of those titles are as cheap/cheaper than they will likely be 'if' they go on sale with rightstuf.

Only Day 3 wasn't in orange links because I got home late yesterday, so overlooked the color scheme on that one day, so I will make sure to double check next time if I get home late to do this next week.

 
Towanoquon is pretty good for $8.99, a decent enough show with an X-Men-like premise.

And while From the New World is also on sale and it is definitely a must own for me... I'm patient enough for a complete collection. I don't like the incredibly misleading "generic school anime" covers the individual parts have.

Excellent price on the Slayers sets. Worth buying for if your a fantasy fan. Great bundle price the Lone Wolf and Club manga.

Ah, crap, I missed the Funimation sale. But it's okay. I picked up so many Funimation sets last year I still havent gotten through them all!

I still miss those awesome sales Funimation used to have with the Buy 1 Get 1 Free's. I hope they bring that back. They have pretty good customer service, too.

 
Just get the New Video rerelease. Has the same amount of episodes as both collections combined and you can get it for $30-$40.
