In a good or bad way?

Maybe they can make Mike scarier andb etter this time around. Seriously, some slow guy who can't throw stuff, Jason pwns his ass.

In a good way.

Halloween is one of my favorite films, and Zombie is one of my favorite directors. (As is Carpenter).

By the way, Myers would destroy Voorhees.
I've always wondered how Michael and Jason get everywhere so fast when they walk so slow.
I wondered how Michael got shot 6 times, fell off a second story balcony, then got shot in the eye, blown the fuck up, fell into a coma and lived. Of course, everybody that's seen the atrocity known as The Curse of Michael Myers knows this.

The Halloween sequels took away from the mystique and fear of Myers...

I wish it was never explained.

Agreed completely. I am a big fan of all Zombie's work.
Doesn't change the fact that its old news. ;)
... and the point of your posts are?
By the way, Myers would destroy Voorhees.
Bvvvvvvvvt! Highly debatable!
Aren't you like a month too late with this bit of news? :p
Yeah, I heard this about a month ago, too.
I think Halloween is too great of a slasher movie to be remade, especially by Rob Zombie. I never saw The Devil's Rejects, but after sitting through 1000 Corpses, I have no faith in him remaking the best slasher movie ever.
am i the only one who doesnt want to see the first movie remade, especially by Rob Zombie
I don't think he's remaking the first one so much as just not paying any attention to the crappy canon established by the shitty sequels.
am i the only one who doesnt want to see the first movie remade, especially by Rob Zombie
I'm with you

If he's remaking one, I'd prefer a remake of Halloween 3. But he'd have to leave the music alone. It was good.
I heard that it was a prequel of sorts. And to all the people who say this news is old, or "correct grammar", go fuck a goat.
You also shouldn't start a sentence with the word "And".

if they are going to making another movie they should release the alternate version of Curse of Michael Myers and make a sequel from that
You also shouldn't start a sentence with the word "And".

That's just a myth.
And what makes you think that?
You don't have to believe me, look it up for yourself. It reduces formality, but it's perfectly "legal."

I just hope that its better than the crap that was House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects.

Btw, Jason >>>>> Michael Myers.
You don't have to believe me, look it up for yourself. It reduces formality, but it's perfectly "legal."
it just feels like its in poor taste

Why are you always telling me to fuck a goat?
it just feels like its in poor taste
Using "and" to start a sentence? You have odd tastes.

This still should be a standalone movie. The movie was good....but had nothing to do with the Halloween series.

Anyways, I enjoyed Zombie's House 1K and Devil's Rejects. I heard he has an animated film in the works though. So, when would we see HAlloween 2008?

Two things:

Devils rejects was good (1000 corpses not so much), and

FREDDY >>>>>>>>>> JASON >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MICHEAL

Oh yeah....I guess the animated film is in Post Production according to IMDB:

The Haunted World of El Superbeasto is the title....

Halloween in 2007 (IMDB says)

I'm sure that's the general consensus of the Internet. Welcome aboard!

Count me in, House of a 1000 Corpses was unoriginal trash and just plain piss poor film making.
... and the point of your posts are?
His name is jasonlives13 - he just won a billion cool points by representing and proving that he knew this a month before everyone else here.

Did I say won - I meant lost.

I only saw the first film and the third film. The third one had a good premise but it sucked.

I never found any of the other films interesting.

Michael is actually a robot sent from the future to destroy John Connor. Everyone Michael kills in the movies are people that are thought to be John Connor by Michael. Luckily, I hear in this remake the whole truth will be revealed and there will be an epic battle between Michael and the Terminator that will decide the fate of John Connor and the human race.

I think this should be good. I hated house of 1000, But Devils rejects was really good. Do they have boxsets of Halloween, and Friday the 13th? If so they should be really cheap.

I don;t know about Haloween, but I saw a used F13 boxset a few months ago at EB for 40 bucks.

I really wish I'd bought it =\

that makes the little dark side found in me sad.....

also real ass face job on the mask, what did he take lessons from leatherface and sew it together himself

Don't know about that, but at least the mask looks beat up. All of the other movies, the mask looks brand new throughout the whole movie.

If I remember right, wasn't Danielle Harris(who's listing in the credits) in Halloween 4 & 5? And what the fuck is with Malcolm Mcdowell playing Dr. Loomis?

Also, good timing on it's release date MGM:wall:. That's like releasing a Easter film on Valentine's Day.
