I've been gettin into it more and more lately but I don't have many rock songs in my library . What songs would you suggest I get?

Well, um...what kind of rock do you want? Classic rock? Hard rock? Mainstream rock? And what kind of bands do you enjoy and currently listen to? It'll make it easier to recommend bands for you.

Personally, I like just about anything from Aerosmith. My favorite is probably Love In An Elevator. Just a fun song to listen to.

Gotta echo Zepplin, Aerosmith, and The Rollling Stones. Also check out Pink Floyd and The Doors.

There's one group you need to check out once you finish going through some classic rock: Spinal Tap.

You know how there are little moments in life that make you feel old? Yesterday i heard Stone Temple Pilots: Big Empty on a classic rock station. I first heard that song when i saw The Crow years ago, now they're playing it along side The Beatles and Rolling Stones.

on the classic rock station? What? Crazy talk at least you guys have stations with good tastes over here. I get the latest Nickleback, Metallica, and endless Ozzy.

yea it is, I used to been in that scene when i was 14 - 16. Screamcore is just Screamo bands that wanna distance themselves as being emo hybrids and wanna say "OMG WE ARE HXC!!!" Under Oath wanted to do it, Silverstein is trying do it and so fourth.

Oh I guess I should have said talented acts that have then people in them. I just hate the White Stripes. And I have listen to much of their music even the crap that hasn't made the radio.

But opinions are opinions back to helping the OP find some rock.

I highly recommend AFI

I'm not saying your opinion is bad or anything. You just implied that The White Stripes aren't hard or fast or whatever, and I don't think anyone can say that about that song.

Stop trying to be an genre elitest... Screamo today is define by a mixture of emo and post-hardcore. Emo lyrics with metallic riffs with of course screaming. Underoath fits the type. Heck, even Silverstein fits that.

Emo to me includes groups such as Rocking Horse Winner, Get Up Kids, Sunny Day Real Estate, etc.

Underoath - In Regards to Myself

Completely serious. They've been playing quite a bit of early 90s stuff on there lately. I'm expecting to hear Nirvana any day now.
