RPG-Thread #3 is extremely linear and does not evolve the genre
Been playing Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, which is my first NIS game. I've already put 40 hours into the damn thing, and I'm not even a third of the way through the story. The game is really a bottomless pit of leveling.
It doesn't have to be. I beat the game in a little under 40 hours with no grinding at all. You can spend a lot of time grinding, or you can make it through each map by the skin of you teeth. I think the second option is more fun, involves more strategy, and is more rewarding. I remember many of the maps I would beat with only 1 or 2 characters left alive.

WKC so far is not impressive. For some reason, it reminds me of Infinite Undiscovery a lot. Combat is not very fun. Maybe it will get better if I improve my agility, but it really bugs me how long you have to wait between attacks.

Ok so I have been going back though ME1 since it has been about two years. Few questions about ME2 does it fix the run/walk speed as in can you move faster? This turtle speed gets to me. Also is aiming with the sniper rifle and assault rifle any better?

The walk speed feels like the "almost jogging" speed from ME1 to me, and you can now sprint, which is fast (like the sprinting when in combat in ME1) but can only be done for short bouts before needing to recharge (no meter that I'm aware of). Wish outside of combat you had unlimited sprint. Would make things quicker.
