Samsung 40inch HDTV thoughts?
Just got done earlier calibrating my Samsung LN40A540. Ton's of work to get it just right and now the picture is even more amazing. :D
what did you use?

Actually, I meant LN37A450. Samsung and their many SKUs...

Best I've seen so far outside of Ebay and Amazon is second act. LN37A450 w/ coupon code NEWLCDBF brings it down to $777.99 with front door shipping, or $722.99 if I pick it up myself. Even if I found the TV in my Gold Box for Amazon it would only bring it down to $712. That's getting closer to the price I'm looking for, but I may hold out another week or two to see if it drops elsewhere.

I do mine low key. I started with the THX optimizer disc. That was a complete waste of time. But it gave me a helpful reminder on what I should be looking for ( haven't calibrated a TV in 2 years ).

I then headed over to AVS forums to check out what there users had to say. I tried a couple of there settings and they kinda stunk as well. I did even up using their White Balance levels and their custom Color Space.

From there I popped in COD W@W and adjusted my contrast and brightness on there. I then adjusted my Color and Tint by watching Fun with Weapons - Southpark episode and paying close attention to Kyle's Orange vest and Stan's Red and Blue outfit.

Like I said it took me a little long to get everything IMO perfect. ( I most likely will be doing some more little fine tuning though ) Color, Deep Blacks, and Shadowing all look great. Along with Picture Quality. If everyone wants I'll post my settings so you can try them out. Not sure if they will look good for you since every TV needs to be calibrated a bit differently.
chances are they verified the card and issued a pending charge. Its not uncommon for the item to ship before it shows up on your statement.

And im sorry to say this but you'll most likely get hit with a small fee [probably between $15-$35] for exceeding your limit as well as additional interest charges on the balance. Hope you can pay it off sooner rather than later. Most CC companies do not decline charges that exceed the limit precisely so they can ding you with additional charges and get more money out of you.

You can always RTS the package and get a refund but you'll probably be left with that fee, in which case you can make a phone call and ask them to remove it. Most will as a one time thing.

On the otherhand if you really wanted it, well then you got it.
Thank you for the info. cause you were absolutely right. Yesterday I noticed that they charged me a $40 overdraft fee, so I contacted amazon and told them what happened and they were totally cool with it and refunded me all my money. This is one of the reasons I love amazon and will continue to do business with them.
