Sandisk 1GB Pro Duo $39.96 QVC Price honored like Indian Peace Treaty
That's what I'm thinking, though sometimes, it's always surprising what does happen.
Ever since Suncoast honored an any DVD boxed set for $14 guffah a few years back I take a shot at every single non-Amazon misprice I can.

It can't be a typo for the item; only the 1GB is yellow. My guess is it's a price mix-up, but QVC deals in so many things, this will probably just go right through. I ordered a couple for myself and friends.

I'm still betting it'll get cancelled... I wonder why they list it as UPS Blue and Red instead of 2nd Day and Next Day Air? Blue definitely is 2nd Day and Red is definitely Next Day (at least the shipping labels are that colour). I thought about paying the extra 4$ as well since I'm leaving on the 27th out of the country.

Thank you for shopping at QVC. The above-referenced order that you placed

God, I love this website sometimes!!!

Mucho props to the guy who started the thread.

I picked up 1, and I don't even have a PSP yet.

A no brainer, for sure.

Was going to buy a bunch of them, but then I figured that QVC might yank the product, so I stuck with just 1. Besides, ebaying them for $$$ or selling them to my friends is too much effort.

I ordered 2 but I don't think it's going to happen... They better not charge my credit card until they ship though...

UPS Blue is 2nd day shipping, UPS Red is Next Day shipping. It's their terms for those shipping timeframes.
they better send this shit considering they already charged my card.
They put an authorization against your card, not a charge. They won't charge against it until it ships. The auth will probably stay there for 3-5 days and then drop off, if they don't ship it until then.

Hmm... just tried to update it to 2nd Day Air and got this:

Your order is in the process of being shipped. No changes can be made at this time.

I wonder if this means it'll go through or just a wacko messeage. The actual order now relfects the new shipping method.

Hmm... even more interesting. They've taken the 1 GB card off the website and it won't even show it as an item on my order status page. Deal Dead????

My debit card puts an authorization against the money until the transaction completes (i.e. ships), and once the merchant puts in the actual sale when it ships, the money disappears. If they don't process it in 3-5 days, the authorization drops off, until they actually do the transaction.

Every bank is different, I would guess.

just to ask here... who is still on backorder from DELL?? i know I am... dell sucks mah balls....

i use M and T. It struck me as strange since i returned about 200 dollars worth of stuff a few days ago at target and it has yet to credit. On the other hand its even stranger that i barely got a chance to breath before they put the order through. i should call them and see if i can get something like that going on my card. i would really like that feature.

50 bucks is an awful lot of dough to sit on since it doesnt ship until the 28th or something, meaning im out fifty bucks till mid july if i keep the order. id love to help you, but i gotta eat.
Which reminds me, Cheapy, did you order one?
Yeah.
I still have one on order from Amazon and my Dell one is going to be canceled today.

I have one on backorder as well. Now the ship date is 7/29. Hopefully this goes through and I can cancel both the Dell and Amazon orders I have open.

I figured it was about time that you cancelled that poor Dell order. :D

Is the Amazon one the one that's $80 AR?

Target will send a Credit ACH to your M&T account (I make the software that does this) and it takes 2 business days. If it was after the Fed Cutoff (depends on who Target uses for credits - could be as early as 2 PM or much much later), then it won't appear until day #3. If it goes past that, you may want to call them to make sure the transaction isn't in limbo.

ha, thats amazing. i returned it around 5:30 pm on tuesday, so im guessing it will post tomorrow. i could still afford this then ----if it posts tomorrow.

just called and they said that it takes 72 hours for the money to be credited back, so looks like im keeping this and remaining dead broke for another day.
How many movies or mp3s can fit one one of these things without sacrificing too much quality?
Seeing as I dont use the cards for music I know the movie question :)

Now remember it all depends on the quality you like and can live with. Also length of movie. But I have 2 movies on my 1gb card I have already. I could fit 3 but I dont like the quality of the movie when you compress it that low.

I have a 512 also and have about 5 Simpsons Episodes on them. Again I know I could fit more but quality of the video is a huge sticking point with me.
Wow. It would be sweet to be able to put an entire trilogy on one of those things...
the sweetest part is that is was $50!!!!!

I salute the world today.
How many movies or mp3s can fit one one of these things without sacrificing too much quality?
A 90 minute movie runs about 340 MB at low end settings. MP3s I think run about a minute a MB.

some guy from fatwallet ordered 2500?? what the hell?

Your order total of $522.08 will be charged to your MasterCard.

Heh. 2500 x $39.99 != $522.08.

Not sure if I'm getting a PSP, but too good to pass up. Was able to get in for one before it sold out; delivery date of July 1st. Here's hoping it ships.

Wow, that math makes no sense.

Did M&T or Target tell you that? I'm just curious... :)

If it is 72 hours from Target's standpoint, I think they must do a 'batch job' at the end of the day for credits and will lead to the extra 1 day processing time. That kinda sucks for anyone using a Debit Card. I opened a Target account a long time ago so I don't have to have the hassle of returns eating up cash that I need right now.

If it was from M&T, they are probably being overly cautious in telling you timeframes. I know that bank pretty well, so they are probably covering any hiccups or delays in sending/receiving if they gave you that quote.

Shipping & tax will kill ya.

Wow, $10,000 worth of memory cards? What a douche. Although if he can sell them all for only $10 profit he will make around $2k off of the deal but in realith he will probably make a lot more (assuming these things ever ship). If everyone ordered 3 or less then no red flags might be raised but with one dick like this you can bet they won't let it slide.
$9000, where do you people get this money?!
I'm sure that was an eBay credit card with some ridiculous limit on it.

I'm more suprised the credit card company let that one go through. $9K at an online retailer? Doubt it.

It all depends on your spending habbits in addition to your limit. AMEX (Green/Gold/Plat/Black) all have no limit but will not allow certain charges above your normal spending if unusually high - usually requires personal phone approval.

That might just nail the rest of us from getting our orders. Oddly enough, I had a deal from Dell at dealcatcher.com where a 3700$ PC was priced at 1800$ still ship even though many people had their orders cancelled. Those were the people who ordered 5+ machines (and were the loudest ones bitching and moaning on the site about how Dell was unfairly cancelling their orders). Maybe they allowed the orders that weren't 'red flag' types or I just slipped through the cracks that time???
