Are the numbers at the end a review score? From what web site?
They seem to be. I'm not sure, it's probably from IGN or GameSpot. She might've just listed them all in a profile and then copied the rest.

Yeah trust me guys I definitely am skeptical, but it seemed like it was worth a shot.. I'll be sure to keep you posted about how it turns out.

I should have spent my money on this insteadf of party poke. Glad to have brought it to your attention.

Damn, hopefully this works out for you. It's definitely worth a shot though, $200 is a fucking steal for all of those games.

This makes me sick to look at . . . it really looks like someone's collection.

Great score buddy . . . I'd hate the risk but would jump on this deal. That's got to be $1000 worth of used games . . . easily.

Can you imagine how much this person is going to kick themself someday . . . $200 gained in exchange for years of lovingly collecting games. You can almost see how they must have gotten one every other week . . .

seriously, it pains me to look at this.

Shouldn't the total be $225 (w shipping)? And I wouldn't want to send money to [email protected].

But I still think this is legit

I'm pretty sure he put the x's there to cover the persons real email address

yeah the xxxx's were just to cover up her real e-mail address and she did send me an e-mail a second later to correct the price to $225.50 (which is what the correct price with shipping).. I'll keep you guys posted.

Duh . . . sorry for the stupidy . . . I watched this program on Dateline where they tracked down a spammer and showed the seedy underworld of computer porn . . . my brain was stuck.

Sounds like you got a great deal from a desperate and ignorant person . . . these can be amazing deals.

See this thread I wrote about my score like this . . . not as good as rockhero's fortune . . . but cool nonetheless.

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44843

If it is legitimate, it must be a parent selling their child's addiction away.. I've seen it before.

and it says "Buyer to pay S&H of 45.00..."

How did you get it down to $25?

In that picture, a lot of them look sealed.. I can tell that Winning Eleven, Viewtiful Joe 2, Jak 3, Phantom Brave, Guilty Gear X, Ace Combat 5 and several others are sealed.. man, I hope this works out for you, RH.. that is an insanely awesome deal.

I keep coming back to this thread in wonder . . . I've seen a lot of lots on ebay and they are always cluttered with tons of crappy games and tons of sports titles. Not this one . . . nearly every game is a good game (worth playing). This was a carefully constructed collection. It's like one of us became a born-again and swore off gaming.

Obviously the Xbox and Gamecube games in the picture are extraneous (sold separately). And the listing is from the person's posting at IGN (or somewhere).

Rockhero, go buy a lottery ticket . . . this could be the start of a roll for you.

yes that is pretty crazy. Hey if you do actually get all these games, how bout selling the ones you don't want here on CAG for a discounted price?
yes that is pretty crazy. Hey if you do actually get all these games, how bout selling the ones you don't want here on CAG for a discounted price?
I'll definitely do something with the ones I have duplicates of - Probably give a few away, definitely make a huge tradelist - Probably won't sell man, money isn't really a problem..

I should get the tracking info today.. I'm going to be at QuakeCon from Wednesday through Sunday, so I'm going to have to wait until then to find out if this is for real or not.

Wow, dumb move to list something on Yahoo Auctions at a starting bid so far below value. Or it could just be a scammer that didn't want to fool with being banned from eBay. (Or a scammer that already is banned from eBay.)

I find it hard to believe a decent seller would let all this stuff go without any kind of minimum bid in place. Unless the seller had all the items given to them for free, I'd imagine the seller is taking a pretty big loss on each sale. Perhaps they're initially taking a loss to get good feedback as a new seller?

About the above comment . . . this guy just doesn't seem to have a clue on the value of this stuff . . . that's the only explanation. I don't even think this a ripoff . . . a ripoff artist would have sought more.

See it's good that you got this deal instead of me . . .

I don't really care that much about any of the games (I own most any I want for the 3 systems except newer games that I'm waiting for drops on). So, I'd keep God of War and a few others.

What I would do next (I'm a bastard) is sell the biggest value 15 on ebay and take in $300-$350 right there . . . could get more . . . Then I would take the middle 40-50 (the ones that don't sell for much but aren't excluded at EB) and trade them into EB (on preorders I later cancel) and have $400-500 to put toward a new system (say next year when I know which one I want). The rest I would a) give away b) hold for a deal like the $5 extra in trade in that EB had in Feb. and c) use a few (Madden 2002) for extra cases.

I hope for you it's not a scam. Can't say for sure. I mean people are dumb enough to trade in their $50 games they play once or twice at Gamestop for $15< or even worse at Pawn Shops for less than $5, so it all comes down to who you're dealing with. You won't know for sure until then but it's probably a risk I would of took as well.

A box of 85 games shipped via a cheap means could easily take 10 days . . . still, we are getting impatient for some kind of update :)
