Scariest Events of Your Life
Seeing my mother light herself on fire, then exactly one month later, seeing my brother commit suicide.
Damn, that's pretty bad. Extremely sorry...

Not being able to breathe because I swallowed too much salt. I looked around for water in the car and (Thankfully) Found some.

And my mom almost choking to death once.

Also a time when I was almost involved in a car accident.

Oh, Can't forget when some kid pointed a shotgun (Rifle?) at me and pulled the trigger. It was not loaded, But the idiot could have killed me if it was.

Also when I was 5 or 6, I was home playing with some toys, Then lightening came through the freaking window, Over my head, Went out the door, And then hit the tree out front, Causing part of it to fall in the yard. I think the branch then caused an electrical cable to come down, But I'm not sure. And strangely, I wasn't scared. it wasn't right above my head, I was actually diagonally below it, But it was close enough.

As for recently, I found out that I had lymphoma in Oct 07. Going through chemotherapy and radiation therapy doesnt sound good at all when you're only 23. Everythings all right now though, hopefully it doesnt come back.
good to know, mang. :grouphug:

that shit fuckin' sucks.

Getting my appendix out in fifth grade was pretty bad. I spent two days (before going to the hospital) hunched over on the floor of the bathroom in pain, unable to drink or eat anything. Even without anything in my system, I still felt like getting sick constantly and tried to force something that wasn't there. I thought I was dying...

Another incident happened when I was working at a grocery store and went after some people who took a full carriage and ran out of the store with it. It was two middle aged guys and I had them cornered at their car while the manager was coming. I asked them to stay still and take their hands out of their pockets, and they looked at each other then hastily jumped in the car starting it. They almost ran me over when my manager showed up and made them slam their brakes on. He grabbed their front license plate and ripped it off before they peeled off. I had to give a statement to the cop that showed up afterwards, but it was really sketchy to me. They got away and I didn't know if they'd show up again or see me somewhere else and get me or something. They ended up turning themselves in 3 days later at the police station and that was the last I heard about it.

I had worked a 5:00 AM- 1:00 PM shift a couple years ago and ended up driving to a mall half an hour away later that night. Fast forward to about 10:00 PM and I'm nearly home but feeling extremely tired. I try opening the window, blasting the music, pinching myself...the works, but nothing phases me and I'm still starting to get that warm and fuzzy feeling. To make matters worse they had "Welcome Back" by Mase playing on the radio- shit's like a lullaby.

Fast-forward again two minutes later and I jolt awake to a screeching noise and a shit-load of turbulence; the whole car is shaking wildly. First I catch a glimpse of the speedometer- 70 MPH. My eyes dart to the left and I'm right up against the metal divider on the highway with sparks flying everywhere, so I impulsively wrench the wheel to the right and careen across two lanes and into the breakdown lane.

Thank god no one else was near me at that time or that could have ended up a lot worse.

Well last year I was flying up to New York City and I had a late flight out. I was supposed to leave at 5:30PM and then arrive at like 11:00PM. Well there was really bad weather all up and down the course of flight, so my plane got delayed until like 9:30PM before we finally take off. Well the pilot says that there was small gap in the weather and so he was gonna take it.

Well about 10 minutes after the plane is in the air, we the plane just starts getting thrown around and several of luggage cases open up and start falling everywhere. Then I look out my window and see that there is a huge active electrical storm straight ahead of us, and the captain comes on the intercom and says that he has no choice but to go straight through it. So all of a sudden the engines roar up and we shoot off ahead and into the storm. Now as I am watching this, I am actually seeing lightning going all past the wings and body of the aircraft, once it actually hit the wing.

Well then, the whole way there it was pretty violent flight, but overall that was the worst. I am not afraid of flying, but I thought for sure I was gonna die.

Waking up one night and not seeing my mom asleep. She opted to sleep on the couch because it was cooler in the living room. I thought that she had disappeared.

Driving with my mom one day who was in a mega panic and talking about killing herself. I think I was 17 at the time.
