Scene It? Box Office Smash! - Gen. Discussion & Info
Come back after you played Buzz 5-10x's and see if you still feel the same way :D
Dang!

I dumped it after playing it 5 or 6 times. Felt really repetitive to me, I like how Scene It varies since the game modes come up at random.

yeah but the questions start to repeat in Scene It! way faster than in BUZZ

I played a bit of this game at a friend's house and it's really still just as lame as last year's version IMO. I find the interface and pretty much everything about the game laughably shoddy. Glad I didn't buy it. I wish MS would step up the quality, between this and Lips and that Urine the Movies game they are looking like hacks to me.

This is how I felt about the first Scene It. Box Office was done much nicer IMO.
Its up on the marketplace. It has been up since around the 12th I think. 560 points
I somehow missed it...thanks. I'll be buying that shortly.

The DLC is pretty crappy. Pop quiz is a joke. I switched on the DLC only option to get the achievement and multiple times I got the exact same question twice in a short game.
Bumping since I finally bought my own copy. Looking for people to play with online.
Send me a message if you see me online bud :)

Sorry to bump an old thread, but my wife and I were playing this with my brother and his gf the other night (I slaughtered them in three consecutive games -- this game could really use some kind of handicapping feature) and I was appreciating the game's controllers and wondering if there were any other games, officially or unofficially, that took advantage of them, ideally other party games. I only have two controllers each for my 360, PS3, and Wii, so this is one of the few four-player games we can enjoy.

I do have a PS3 and I'll certainly look into Buzz (even though it means finding space to store four MORE controllers exclusive to this game). What makes it so much better?

More modes, variety of trivia (more than just movies), ability to download user created trivia and so on.

everything makes it better.

play online vs. 6 other people, never get the same question twice, etc.

I'll never go back.

Is there any reason to start with Quiz TV or should I just start with Quiz World?

Also, if anyone wants to play Scene It? sometime, let me know. I enjoy all trivia, but I'm a bit of a cinephile, so movies are my forte.
