Ok,

Here is a trade list for this thread!

I was passing by the game section while overhearing the employee talk about all 2 of their Xbox 360 systems they got in...

I noticed a few of the games were oddly priced..

Urbz, wario and Pokemon DS we $24.94 or some such thing.

There were many games this way so I am not sure if its a YMMV or what? No SALE signs were there and the tags were a plain white. It seemed to me that they were the current prices.

Here's a compiled list of everybody's finds so far in the thread. The price following the game title are the different reported prices.

All prices and availability is YMMV, and a lot of it seems to depend on the cashier. A lot of these games aren't in the system, and in many cases they won't sell them to you. Two options here:

A)If a game isn't in the computer when scanned, the cashier can try typing in the Stock number that is on the sticker for the game on the shelf.

B)Some people have had success bringing up another known priced game and getting both for that price.

Man, I should look for warioware, I've been trying to get that cheaper than the $25 from bestbuy with the $10 coupon.

(If anybody has an extra one cml or PM me if I can't find one I might pay cost plus shipping).

What was the price-per-piece breakdown?
 
The prices on the titles I picked up are pretty consistent at every store, I think. But some of the other ones I had the cashier scan didn't ring up as I thought they would such as:
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - $19.99
KOTOR 2 (XBX) - $19.99

The titles I bought rang up for:
Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga $9.97
Legend of Zelda LttP $9.97
NES Classic Legend of Zelda $2.97
Super Mario Advance 2 $12.97
Metroid Zero Mission $9.97

And it was about $92 after tax for all the ones I bought, I forgot I also picked up some floor cleaner that put my total over $100.

KOTOR 2 for $20 is also good i guess...
 
Well, I went to Sears to try and get in the good deals I have been seeing mentioned here and the only one they had was PS2: War of the Monsters for $9.99. I was happy about that for I have been wanting this one for a while but refused to pay $50 or even $30 for it.


The best news though was that as I was leaving I took one more look in the Xbox case and placed way in back was a copy of Star Wars: Republic Commando for $19.99. I grabbed this for I have not seen this in around my neck of the woods for under $50 new for quite a while now. Heck, Gamestop wanted $39.99 used. So, I figured if anyone else was interested, have them ring that game up for it may be $20 every where

Thanks Op. I couldn't find anything but WarioWare Touched! clearanced. I picked that up for 12.97. Everything else mentioned either was out of stock or was still at full price.
 
I made out like a bandit today at the Frisco TX store. Picked up 2 copies of GBA Donkey Kong (NES Classic series) and a Warioware Touched for the DS. I had taken the items to a clerk outside Electronics as I was tired of waiting for them. Final total with tax was less than $10. I paid and run. Figured there was another price reduction on Touched or something.

Yeah you could say that I guess. When I got home and looked at the receipt, she had rung up 3 copies of Donkey Kong at $2.96 ea! :)

The Frisco, TX store is where I got my 10 GBA games for $92 a few posts above. I went there a few months back when the sale first started and picked up LoZ Minish Cap for $19.99. I remember seeing all the other GBA games there then, but I didn't buy any of them. I was very surprised yesterday to see them all still there after several months, so I went ahead and cleared them out. I figure if nobody else is going to buy them after so many months, I might as well. :)
 
Hey TexTuna, were there any more Warioware Touched left at the Frisco Sears? I'd be willing to go back and get one or two of them for these guys who are looking for them if they are still there. I don't have a DS, so I never checked any of the DS clearance games at the store.

i've got a copy of wario ware touched sealed still. i really wanted Super Mario Advance 2: SMW, but will settle for Kingdom of Hearts: Chain of Memories. also got Fire Emblem Sacred Stones and LoZ: LttP Four Swords. i have FF I&II: DoS and Golden Sun: TLA from the TRU sale. so hit me up if you have SMA 2 or SMA 3.

I checked the FF 11/PS2 Hard Drive combo today, and it was $70.

I bought Champions of Norrath for $10, but I can't remember if it's been listed yet or not.

Got Tiger Woods 06 for the PS2 at sears tonight for 9.97
Don't know if it was a misticket for Tiger 05 or what but all of the ones in the store I was in were priced at 9.97.

Just wondering but why are people still looking for the FF11/PS2 Hard Drive? The game is dirt cheap for the PC and there is a 360 version comming soon... is it for the HD? If so, why, isnt it just a huge (and expensive) memory card?

well in addition to virtually unlimited memory, i think people swap out the actual hard drive with a larger one and basically use it as a game bank

hd loader, basically u can copy games onto the hard drive, i dont believe you are supposed to talk about it here since it is technically illegal (the copying of games onto the HD)

Eh. I have no interest in buying one ... I might've if it scanned for some insanely low price ... like $10. I'd pick one up for $10 just to say I have one. Heh. I just figured I'd scan it and see what it rang up.
 
On the outside chance that someone has an extra or unwanted sealed copy of Zelda: Minish Cap and/or Fire Emblem for GBA that they picked up for $10 from the Sears clearance, please PM me because I would be very interested in getting one or both of them for my 10 year old son.

sooners, i'll trade Fire Emblem Sacred Stones for something. i'm not selling though. i especially want Super Mario Advance 2 and 3, Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island respectively.

I dont think the game is rare, just sealed copies of it are. If you can find it at sears for $16.97, get it. Its well worth it.
 
Has anyone noticed any GC games clearanced? I'm going to be stopping by this evening, wondering if I should take a look at anything beside DS/GBA.

My advice would be to just pick up some of the older titles you are interested in and have the cashier scan them. I have a feeling there are probably a lot of titles on clearance that aren't in this thread. Report back if you find some good deals!

Was just gonna say... I was tempted to have them scan a non-PC Pikmin that was tagged at 19.99. I don't think I've ever seen a new copy of that, let alone non-PC. Its probably been there for years. Unfortunately there was one guy in electronics and he was helping some dude who had no idea what kind of camera he had. And the employee seemed equally clueless. I'll try again when I head over to GameRush later this week.
 
I was in sears today, i saw they had "SALE" signs up that were just like 4-5$ off each game title, but i didnt see any red tagged titles like before.

Also i think they use specialized barcodes on a sticker placed on the front of the box, so unless its the same barcode from the back of the box i do not think you will be able to print out an internet barcode and scan it, unless someone has made a printed barcode work.
 
Was able to snag Wario Ware: Touched for $12.97 and Taiko Drum Master for $19.97 at the Sears located at the Pheasant Lane Mall. I grabbed the last Wario Ware though. I will have to go back and check what else they have left.

Wario Ware for $12.97 = Sweet.
 
My sears had mario party 6 for 40, marked 50. War of the monsters ps2 for 10. I am going to go back to check the prices on the other games, they were all in the case, which is kinda annoying. But, they had a fair amount of good games left.
