Ok,

Here is a trade list for this thread!

I was passing by the game section while overhearing the employee talk about all 2 of their Xbox 360 systems they got in...

I noticed a few of the games were oddly priced..

Urbz, wario and Pokemon DS we $24.94 or some such thing.

There were many games this way so I am not sure if its a YMMV or what? No SALE signs were there and the tags were a plain white. It seemed to me that they were the current prices.

Here's a compiled list of everybody's finds so far in the thread. The price following the game title are the different reported prices.

All prices and availability is YMMV, and a lot of it seems to depend on the cashier. A lot of these games aren't in the system, and in many cases they won't sell them to you. Two options here:

A)If a game isn't in the computer when scanned, the cashier can try typing in the Stock number that is on the sticker for the game on the shelf.

B)Some people have had success bringing up another known priced game and getting both for that price.

Finally got a Taiko for 9.99 . I purchased it at 19.99 thinking it was a great deal until people started getting them for 9.99. Returned them to find out that they removed it from the system and would be shipped back to the manufacture. I had to search 4 or 5 Sears to get it though. Can't say how much gas $ I spent. Of coarse I picked up other goodies along the way making it all worth it.
 
My local SEARS still have few PS2 Hardrive w/ FFXI and they Pricematch with old BB $10 off coupon too. Still wonder it worth $37.XX or not ? Maybe, i should wait little longer until it drop down $20 or less ;)
 
Went into my Sears today to take a look see. While scanning a few games I came across the famous item not found munbo jumbo on FF Tactics Advance. So I scoped out the 2 closest registers and went with the young teenage girl. So here is what happened:

Cashier: That's funny it's not ringing up (another cashier walks up)

Cashier 2: Try scanning half of the barcode

Cashier: (Looking at her co-worker like she is crazy) Half the barcode, but it is one barcode.

Cashier 2: It works in the men's department

Cashier: Sir, do you know how much this was?

Me: No, I just grabbed it from the clearence bin. (Cashier walks over to bin)

Cashier: Didn't see a price (she enters an amount) $4.97 ok.

Me: Sure:)

So I got the game for $4.97 because the lowest price on the SALE sign was this amount.
 
I figure I might as well visit my local Sears again and see if they have Taito Legends. I'm not gonna hold my breath though, my Sears lets me down a lot...
 
Is Wario Ware Twisted a good deal for $15 and anyone want one?

If so I can possibly pick up a copy and would trade for a DS game.

The GCN is a lot of fun! I love it especially because up to 4 people can vs at once which is probably the best! I'd definitely recommend picking it up!

Doesn't hurt, checked it yesterday (Monday) and they actually had a few things left. If your Sears is too far away, just forget it, but if it's a decent amount to drive, than go for it!
 
I was pretty surprised to see that my Sears still had quite a few items. Some were out in a clearance bin and a few were still in the case.
I picked up
Ninja Gaiden: Black (last copy I think) - in the bin
Baten Kaitos (many copies left) -locked case
Baldur's Gate: DA II (last copy I saw) - locked case

Saw, but didn't buy:
Battalion Wars
FF XI + hard drive
Advance Wars: DS (wanted but don't have the money now).
I think they had some of the Harry Potter games but I wasn't really interested in them.

This is at the Sears on 63rd Drive/Queens Blvd.

I loved (and I mean LOVED) the original GBA game, but the GCN version was such an obvious rehash of the EXACT same mini-games ported directly from the GBA, bad resolution and all. I was truly in disbelief that the GCN version was so amazingly bad. I wanted to like it.

I played both single player and multi player and after about 15 minutes, I was thankful that my friend (who unfortunately was duped into buying it at full price) dissuaded me from wasting my money.

On a side note, Ive heard nothing but good things about Twisted, but i've yet to play it.

My 2 cents.
 
Scored a copy of Virtua Tennis for $10, going to check out some more Sears tomorrow, still crossing my fingers trying to score a WarioWare DS.

Haven't played the GBA version so couldn't give a 100% proper comparisent, but from playing the GCN version, I loved it!

Behind the glass on an endcap, we saw 2 Final Fantasy XI HDD's (scanning at $50 each) and a bunch of Wario Ware Twisted's.
 
Damn. Went to another Sears out of town and couldn't find Taiko Drum Master :bomb:

Saw DOA Ultimate in the bin for $24.97. I don't think it's a good price, isn't it?
 
If anyone is able to find me a copy of Pokemon LeafGreen supercheap, I am willing to paypal you 10 or 15 bucks to grab it and send it over to michigan (since it'll probably cost you about 6 bucks to buy and send it, I figure the extra is for you doing me a favor :))

I got an astro boy omega factor for 9.97 that is a good price since ebgames is selling it cart only for 17.99.

It doesnt seem the rest of the stuff is on sale at sears, it is all behind the case with the regular 49.99 price tags on it. I wonder if its just individual stores that are marking it down or if its chain wide.

they will scan at the new prices, some stores didnt bother updating.
 
Has anyone seen NBA Live for the 360. Saw the front page said only $30, but in store rang up full price, just curious.
 
I went to 3 different stores yesterday. The closest store was my best haul.

Warioware: Touched! for $5
Warioware: Twisted! for $15
Mario Golf: Advance Tour for $5

a further store had Metroid Prime for $10

and the 3rd store had nothing of interest. not to me anyway.

One thing I did noticed that wasn't posted on the main list on the first page was GCN Starfox Assault for $25.

According to a new post on FW, PSP Midway Arcade Treasures is $9.99, can anyone else confirm this? I would check now but the mall is closing in 5 minutes
 
Yeah I noticed that as well but I though I remember hearing that they raised the prices of the games on the website but the prices on the other games listed in this thread are still valid at B&M locations.

i don't think anyone shops for games at the Sears in Columbia. i finally got out there after months since the last time i loaded up on GBA games, and everything i wanted was still there, namely NG: B, KotOR 2, WW: Twisted, Ico, Mario and Luigi: PiT, Castlevania: CoD, Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes, Metroid, everything. they even had a few copies of DQ VIII, still marked at $50.

btw, FF I & II: Dawn of Souls is $15 i'm pretty sure. i saw one on the clearance racks marked at that price, but more on the regular shelves still marked $30. too bad Advance Wars: DS isn't $5 cheaper, otherwise i would've picked it up. at BB during the $10 off coupon era, it was also $25 AC.
